Amanda is a very attentive & accommodating hostess, and went out of the way to make sure that our stay was top notch. She even called ahead at the restaurant to let them know we were running a few minutes behind our reservation time. »

« The cottage was well appointed and fun. The bathroom and bedroom are on different levels so be prepared for that. It was nice having the hot tub but it had a ton of bugs in it. The views and land were beautiful. Never able to find the animals and the office was closed on a Sunday so no one to ask for assistance. The directional arrows at the property are very confusing. »

« Enjoyed our stay. The house was perfectly located for a nearby wedding celebration on a family farm. Located in a beautiful part of the state. Beds were comfortable. Hot tub is new and clean but we didn’t have time to enjoy it. The stairs to second floor are extremely steep, may be dangerous for small child or difficult to climb for a person with bad knees. Pet peeve- had to collect all towels and put in a laundry bag as part of check out expectations. That extra task seems excessive for...

« Everything stood out! This place was perfect for our early family Thanksgiving - we couldn't have picked a better place to stay. It was so warm and inviting. Also, we were lucky enough to meet Brian upon our arrival and he was so welcoming that it was easy to see why his house felt like home for us. We had everything we needed and honestly couldn't have asked for more. If you are looking for a place to stay in the Rappahannock County area of Virginia, I highly recommend that you choose this one....

« We were looking for a place within a short distance to the Inn and found this gem. The property was spotless and comfortable. It would have been an ideal base for a trip to Shenandoah had that been part of our itinerary. It's just a short walk to the Inn. The house was a welcome destination after the meal and wine. »

Our dog loved running in the fields and jumping in the stream. Our host was very nice and responded quickly to our questions, kitchen very well stocked. We had a lovely time. »

Immaculate and comfortable, the bedrooms and baths were perfect for us. We made little use of the kitchen beyond morning tea but it seemed fully equipped.
