« In spite of some very lovely staff, this hotel is in an appalling state and desperately need of a facelift. Water damage on the walls, peeling paint, leaking toilets, a broken shower and windows that haven’t been cleaned in years. The owners need to spend a lot of money on this establishment that must have been spectacular in the past, as neither it or the staff deserve it being left in this state. »

« Stayed in room 416. Our main problem was the heat. I asked for the heating to be turned off so we could sleep and she said it was on auto and would go off soon. (We found it difficult to sleep due to the temp of the room) it came on again early in the morning. We used 2 fans but could not stand the heat in the room. It was a relief to go down to breakfast and escape it »

« Chambre exiguë, à se demander si ce n'était pas une chambre de bonne reconvertie (3 m de large sur 4 m de long), eau bouillante pour la douche à 2 reprises (2 matinées de suite) : merci pour les migraines de la journée ! Pas de wifi dans les chambres : nécessité de se rendre dans les salons et à l'accueil situés au rez de chaussée pour se connecter à internet avec smartphone et pc portable. »

« Lovely view »

« The rooms were quite basic with not enough hanging space and the bed was quite small. »

« Noisy ppl next door »

« Good for a night or two. Tired, empty large corridors. Walls are thin. But it's warm, and in a decent area »

« The room was ok but was not serviced daily. The heating only came on for around an hour in the morning and as it is October perhaps should have been a couple of hours at night. The staff were polite and friendly. »

« Très bon séjour, personnel très accueillant petit bémol la taille du lit double très petit sinon tout était parfait »

« House was fine, clean and tidy although the freezer had been defrosted and not cleaned so we had to complain about that. The pub has gone down hill, food not as good and expensive, alcohol is very expensive. The site no longer has any electric car charging stations which is frankly rubbish (nearest decent charger is at McDonalds 8 miles away and expensive), staff said they were damaged and decided not to replace them. We really like this site and will return but spend our money elsewhere. »

« Had an excellent stay with a clean room and friendly staff. And a lovely continental breakfast. »

« We had no running hot water other than the electric shower. No wardrobe just hangers on hooks. TV was the size of an iPad. Bottom bed sheet too small and forever coming off. Needs to be clearer when it states breakfast included but it is only cereal. Outside seating area not suitable as soiled with seagulls droppings »

« Loved our stay and would definitely recommend »

« Good location, really nice chap, would go again »

« We had a wonderful stay. Easy instructions, helpful host and a lovely room to stay in. Very clean and the bed was comfy. Blessed also with glorious weather in October!! The only point I’d raise was the water pressure in the shower wasn’t great but it worked and was hot!! Will definitely rebook!! »

« Really lovely beachfront property with a balcony over the beach. Check in was easy as was parking and the staff were very pleasant and helpful. It’s a great location and the apartments are really nice. Would recommend. »
