« The property is under renovation. The lobby and breakfast area are a bit noisy with the work. The breakfast area was lacking tables and chairs, the floor was concrete due to the cobstruction. The breakfast was still delicious, and the room was comfortable. But, had I known the property was under construction, I would have booked elsewhere. »

« I don't understand the average review rate... My room was strongly smelling cigarette even if it is supposed to be non-smoking room and it was not that clean. At the breakfast there were no more eggs and regular coffee. The only employee I saw seemed too busy to take care of all these details. The AC was so so. I understand it's under renovations but they don't even seem to try to make up for that. On the positive side it was quiet until about 7:30 when the construction workers started. ...

« This is one of the nicest hotels in Topeka...Staff totally professional..it is clean! Has a bar and restaurant that serves from the bar area..Many arras that are open to watch TV or just play cards...the room we had on 1st floor had exceptionally high ceilings, really nice! The area is very accessible to event happenings. »

« We were supposed to check in at 3 PM, however, we were not able to check in until 8 PM. We have very exhausted kids that needed to get to bed. The hotel was severely understaffed. I called several times to see when we can check in and they would never answer the phone. I left a message on their website and they just gave me an automatic reply. I felt bad for the front desk staff. For paying $250 I would expect this from a low-grade hotel. Definitely not worth the money. I would at least...
