« An amazing hotel, we stayed here for the second part of our mini-moon to the Lake District. The hotel is stunning, amazing views overlooking the lake. The staff are lovely, welcoming and helpful, special shout out to Noel on the gate, gave us a lovely welcome. The spa/pool is stunning, a great place to lounge around and spend the day if its raining and the bar attached to the spa made it all the better The in house restaurant Mizumi was great, all the food was inventive and tasty! The hot tub...

« Great property for 3 people. It was well equipped very clean . Location perfect for Hawkeshead for all amenities. Will definitely return. »

« We had room 310 it where there are some sort of blowers air con also a fire door is left open and the staff use it come come in and out but the hotel is a great place to stop apart from this »

« Superbe lodge en bord de lac. Spacieux, confortable, cuisine américaine aménagée. Balcon. SDB, 2 toilettes. »

« The staff were fantastic and despite being warned about building work we needn’t have worried. The food was good both for dinner and breakfast. The spa was especially nice. We were warned it would get busy by the very helpful member of staff but even when busy it was ok. We had a really lovely little break with great views of the lake. All in all worth every penny. Thank you for a wonderful time. »

« Personnel vraiment très accueillant. Chambre de belles dimensions pour le prix avec petit dej énorme inclus et parking gratuit. Grande salle de bains (toilettes dans la sdb). Lits un peu mous mais ça va. Très belle terrasse sur le lac. En revanche le resto est cher et la brasserie bruyante. Il vaut mieux diner dehors. »

« We came back late from a long walk in the Lakes and realize arriving in our room that they gave us a room with no blind or curtain !!!! We rang the Reception at 11pm they said someone was coming but nobody showed up. The following morning when we wanted to record a formal claim the receptionist just told us "sorry" It is a shame !!! Avoid this hotel ! You pay a high rate for the location but the rest is shameful !! »

« Cette hôtel était vraiment parfait , nous avons passer un très bon séjour »

« Due to circumstances beyond our control we were forced to cancel our reservation at the hotel, which we did by telephone four days before our expected arrival. When the hotel refused to refund our prepayment, we asked for a raincheck, which they didn't even answer. »

« I’m very disappointed because this property is simply not accurately advertised. The accommodation itself is nice, but several of the facilities that influenced my decision to book DO NOT EXIST as advertised. Expedia clearly lists a restaurant, bar/lounge and full-service spa, including massage, and shows spa/sauna facilities. In reality, there is NO restaurant, NO bar and NO full-service spa. Breakfast can be pre-ordered and delivered to your room, but that is not a restaurant. A minibar in...

« It was too busy on our last morning as we could not have breakfast for the que wait time sadly »

« The person at the reception had a very inappropriate behaviour. The welcome was cold, to such a point that we did not stay in the hotel for the diner. Piscine (nice, good temperature), sauna (not warm enough - could not even sweat) Jaccuzzi (out of order). Wifi limited to Whathsapp and Facebok. TV poor quality (channels). Room quite big, good confort with 2 kids, a plus »

« We had cabin 1 and it was great. Hot tub, wood, everything was lovely and well thought out. Everything you need was there »

« Excellente restauration aussi mais attention si vous n’aimez pas la coriandre »

« The hotel is beautiful from the outside and located in such a picturesque area but the room we got was a disappointment. Located on the first floor and tucked in a corner, it did not match the pictures on the site and looked rather old (except for the bathroom), with an uncomfortably slumping mattress. The view was on some sort of roof/installation that nearly blocked all light. I will add that other rooms, which I saw the next morning while housekeeping was cleaning, looked much better. I'm...

« Vue exceptionnelle sur la rivière et le pont en pierre refait en 1818. Près de tout à pied. Magnifique endroit. Personnel attentionné et professionnel. »

« A well located inn for visiting central Bowness-on-Windermere. Plenty of parking options around. »

« Personnel agréable. Établissement adapté aux personnes déficientes visuelle (écriture en braille, chien accepté). Repas du soir pris sur place, très bien. Petit déjeuner sour forme de buffet très complet, viennoiseries excellentes. Chambre : rien à dire, salle de bain : il y avait quelques cheveux aux sols. Piscine très agréable après une grosse journée de marche. »
