« I want to start by saying the staff was amazing and very accommodating at waves resort. Our issue was the tiny beach, tiny pool and limited food options. It wasn’t clear that the water taxi that could take you to sister resorts to eat didn’t run at night. This is the most important meal, in my opinion. But they were very gracious about moving us to a resort that fit our needs better. »

« Ai séjourné 2 nuits dans cet hôtel en décembre 2014. Déçue par l'équipement de l'hôtel, piscine très peu profonde. Petite plage. Repas très moyens, pas de réfrigérateur dans la chambre. En revanche, chambre très propre, personnel très accueillant, et malgré un départ très matinal, un petit déjeuner nous a été préparé. Les prestations fournies ne correspondent pas au prix pratiqué. »

I don’t say that lightly, having previously stayed at many 5 star resorts, and famous properties like the Ritz in London and Madrid, the Vier Jahrezeiten in Hamburg and Munich, the Sandy Lane here in Barbados, etc. the hotel is not for everyone. « Tamarind is a good hoteĺ, located on a very nice beach with a lot of of water activitties and animations (music band, dance courses, sightseings tour). Be careful: the hotel standing is lower than described or pictured. Anyway, Tamarind is part of the Elegant Group in Barbados and the management is very flexible to transfer you to an other resort of the Group. We wer moved for exemple to the Colony Club which is up scale. »

« The pool is just a plunge pool on the roof.. the 2 bedroom doesn’t have nearly enough storage for people staying more than a couple of days. « Barbados is a marvellous island with lovely peolpe. Even if Winshelsea guest house is good located and clean I would not recomand to stay there! There is too many rules in this guest house. First there is one chain with a lock at the entrance gate. It's locked anytime and you park your car outside... After this gate there is a very nosy iron gate how creak loud at any passage. There is a shorter way but the guest don't have the key and it's reserved to the worker who clean the rooms....
