« It was quaint, clean as a whistle, perfect little cottage type room away from the restaurant where we could have privacy, see the river out the back window, watch fireflies in the trees while sitting in Adirondack wooden chairs outside our room and listen to the rain. JoJo’s Catfish wharf was so good we had supper one night and lunch the next day there. Wonderful food and service. The canoe salad bar was a complete winner with me! »

« Pros: Clean, convenient location. Cons: small. Very Uncomfortable mattress on bunk bed. No hot water on first night (easy fix, breaker had been thrown) no blinds- lots of light coming through windows »

« Great location as far as the restaurant is in walking distance and another great restaurant right down the road, just about 5 miles for downtown Mountain View. Beautiful lake to sit on the deck and look at. You can not fish from your cabin, which was disappointing, the cabin is just basic. Clean and neat, but no amenities, whatsoever, but a beautiful location. »

« Even though I can sympathize with the limited amount of traffic through Clinton AR looking for overnights, this property could be stunning with some hard work. But that would require landscaping, cleaning the place up inside and out, providing the breakfast you advertised (but did not offer), pest control for ALL the sewer flies, fix the pool or fill it in, wash the bed covers or better yet replace, clean the carpets, and deep clean everything top to bottom. »

« We were looking for a treehouse in the woods for a quick getaway and we definitely felt secluded even though we were right off the road. The only suggestion I have is improving the sign that says “6070” and maybe placing an “87 Getaway” sign there as well. My GPS had the correct turn but I turned at the 87 Getaway sign instead (my bad!) and ended up in the wrong cabin for a hot second! Otherwise it was exactly what we were looking for. »

« Ad should show only the unit that is to be rented, this ad showed another unit making it seem like that was one we were getting. Ended up not sleeping in it as no bathroom and leaving after seeing what it truly was. »
