„I was a little bit worried about having booked a room without windows but let met tell you it was great. The rooms are in great conditions and clean. The hotel is located perfectly for a city or football trip. For this price the hotel is a bargain!“

„Amazing stay from pre-check-in to check out. Clean room with amenities. We took our dog and they provided a dog bed, towel, water bowl and treats. Perfect bolthole for a stay away. We sat and played games in the snug area of the bar with an open fire for the afternoon. There’s complimentary canapés from 5:30pm and the restaurant had dishes for all dietary requirements. All the staff were friendly and helpful. We will be returning again.“

„The White Lion is right on the sea front, the staff were excellent, the rooms were cleaned every day and your room extra's topped up. Good shower, comfortable bed, bar and restaurant was very nice too.“

We stayed in one of the garden rooms which was gorgeous, and would be even nicer when warmer as each has a little table and chairs in front - the room had everything you could want v spacious and gorgeous Temple Spa bathroom products, and a lovely touch was the complimentary bottle of Copper House gin ;) lovely meal in the restaurant and delicious breakfast. „Such a fantastic hotel, parking on site but small, there is a paid carpark right near by that is not expensive. The room has everything and more, beautiful furnishings. Lovely walk along the promenade. “

„The location was great and it was perfectly located, you were at the central station in three minutes and can reach everything else within a 10 min walk. The owner was extremely nice and took care of me very well. The house is old and although you could tell they tried hard to keep the shared bathrooms clean, this wasn’t always the case. The house was fukky booked though so I appreciate the effort! I’d definitely come back! “
