« Booked as got stuck on the A303, nice staff, great breakfast and hard to argue with the price. My only minor criticism is being 6’3 the light they’d fitted to the single room was basically at face height so I cracked my head a couple of times getting in and out of bed. Otherwise would recommend for a cheap stay. »

« We came by rail. The choice of food was perfect. A smaller kettle would have been an advantage - to fit better under the tap. Also a larger coffee pot, so that it contained a 'top up'. One of the best hotels we have stayed at. Thankyou. »

« Excellent sĂ©jour au Farthings. Exactement ce que nous recherchions lorsque nous avons choisi cet Ă©tablissement au charme typiquement anglais. Nous y avons Ă©tĂ© accueillis trĂšs chaleureusement dans une chambre coquette, joliement dĂ©corĂ©e avec une jolie vue sur le jardin. CotĂ© cuisine, les papilles sont Ă©galement a la fĂȘte, de l'entrĂ©e au dessert. Un sans faute! Et que dire des salles, cosy et discrĂštes, subtilement dĂ©corĂ©es dans un style "english cottage" douillet... un pur ravissement! Si vous...

« The Hornsbury Mill is a very charming hotel, set in beautiful grounds with a little lake. The staff are very friendly and attentive and the bed comfortable. I had the full English (vegan) breakfast and it was very tasty. The one complaint I had was that when the very charming old mill wheel is on and turning (which they switch off at 8pm), the noise made a constant thud in my room and bothered me a little. I assume it won’t be too much of a bother though to most people, who would be in bed well...
