The power went off in the whole area, but even though the staff was amazing, got candles to my room so it wasnât dark , they picked me up in my cabin when it was raining, or so dark you couldnât see anything đ they helped arrange safari trip and a drive to Mirissa after my stay đ »

« Everything was great. Manager of the restaurant went above and beyond and was amazing, as were all the staff. Even drove us to and from the elephant transit home in their safari jeep. Made sure everything we asked for, happened. Loved the turtles in the courtyard too. »

« Accueil au top, on est reçu avec un jus de fruit fraßchement fait, les chambres sont spacieuses, avec une petite terrasse et un salon de jardin en bois, 1 gel douche, 1 shampooing et 1 lotion lime/cinnamon dans la salle de bain, un espace détente avec un terrain de badminton, des échecs et une piscine trÚs agréable, les repas sont préparés minutes et avec attention, prix trÚs corrects. Emplacement idéal à - de 10' du parc. Des hÎtes en or, une bouteille d'eau donnée quand je suis partie à 5h45...

« The 2 guys looking after the place were brilliant and couldnât be more helpful.
Place in a great location and ideal for the safari and the elephant transit sanctuary.
Our accommodation was excellent and the pool so relaxing.
Not a great deal to do in Udewellewe other than the Elephant sanctuary and the safari. M

« La Pentera is a unique property and it is conveniently located around 30 minutes drive to the entrance of the Udawalawe National Park. Our host is very friendly and helpful, going above and beyond our expectations and making sure we have the best time in the property. The evening walk around the lake area is awesome, and the hammocks, swings and mini rock climb is nice too. We had our best Sri Lankan cuisine in this resort, the chicken curry is full of flavours and spices. Definitely recommend...

« Very clean room.Lovely pool. The hotel is out of the way near the river. We loved the tranquil setting. Apart from our safari trip (which was arranged by the owner) we didnât leave the hotel, which suited us because the food provided at the hotel is delicious. The only negative thing I would say is they could do with upgrading the recliners by the pool. »
