„The location of this property is excellent. However, everything else was not great. The set up of the second floor was bizarre. The AC units from each room vent into the hallways, making them very hot, and the hallway windows didn’t open or barely opened and were covered in webs and other insects. Our room was very hot when we arrived, and the AC was not on, so we turned it on and it was able to cool off after a few hours. There is a ladder to climb a very steep climb to get into the bed, you have to crawl from the end as there is no room around the bed. They must have built the loft around the bed. „This is a real gem of a find! I loved our stay here. GPS does take you to the back of the building but it’s located next to a large parking lot. Plenty of parking which was great for us because we have an extended cab f350 ford that does not fit into most parking spaces. The other great thing about this house is multiple showers and bathrooms. This is so rare in a CT house. I must’ve searched for hours. The host Pam was super friendly and was so quick to respond. „It was a great property and good location. Other than the fridge there was no storage space for food. The beds were very comfortable. It was well stocked for necessities. The mildew or sanitation smell was overwhelming, I bought plug in fragrances to cover the smell. Overall it was great, everything you need for a stay at the lake. The host was always very friendly and responsive, we didn’t need to contact him at all for the stay“

„This location in Stafford Springs is a hidden gem if you love a beautiful private cabin in the woods but still close enough to town. Plenty of space for both my family and my brother’s family; having 5 kids and 2 dogs running around.It was the perfect spot for us to unwind after our event during the day.
