« We had a wonderful time and Doug was a terrific host. He met us at check-in, walked us through the cabin, showed us the boats/canoes, and told us a bit about the history of the area and fun places to spend some time. Very charming and rustic cabin, super comfy. It's a very intimate and private setting, secluded but 30min from town. Excellent private dock to launch the boats provided, or to launch your own. Nice paddlers pond, not much power boat action. Herons, bald eagles and assorted...

« We were lucky enough to stay in this cabin on Indian Lake and were impressed with all the extras the host provided. Whether it was a kitchen gadget, extra life jacket or cornhole game- we truly didn’t have to pack as much as we did. The host John, was proactive and was incredibly responsive. My daughter wants to return next year! »

« Loved the house, the area and the lake. House is as described, lake is lovely, tons of things to do just at the house and almost hard to leave and explore the area! Our families threw a dart at the map this year for our vacation and we ended up with one of the best trips we’ve had in a long time. Indian and Mountain View Lakes are hidden gems in the Adirondacks and the house is full of history and tradition. Thanks to the owners for sharing this house! »

« Place was amazing! My boys and I(19&24 yr olds) had a great time! Place had everything we needed and some! It was very clean and tidy. It was relaxing and peaceful. We caught some rainbow trout early morning and had a crane visit every morning! Hiked nearby Cascade Mountain for some amazing views of the high peaks... As well as a few rounds of golf in Malone. Hope to return again. »
