« We (two couples) spent three nights here. The lake is beautiful and the stairs down to the lake are new and well-constructed. The house is really nice, with comfortable beds and pleasant bedrooms, an excellent common area leading to a pleasant porch. Backyard is a good space. Bathrooms and kitchens are well set up. The hosts are very nice and welcoming. »

« We had a wonderful time. It was relaxing and peaceful in Grousehaven cabin surrounded by nature. My sons are adults now and still come every year with my husband and I to get away and meditate in the finger lakes. There is so much to see in the finger lakes. « We used the property mostly for extra housing for family, so we did not take full advantage of the amenities. The property was nice. We are new to VRBO, so we did not realize that we would need to supply our own towels and linens. There was no a/c, Wi-Fi, or other electronics. This lack did not pose a problem. The days were warm, but the fans cooled off the bedrooms nicely. Overall, we would rent the property again should the family need arise. »

« We stayed here with our teenage children. The teenagers enjoyed hanging out in the beach cottage. The dock & beach area was large enough for our group to enjoy fishing, swimming, kayaking, & jet skiing. Yes, as many of the reviews note there are many stairs at this property. If walking / stairs are an issue for you, this is not the place for you. The owner was very responsive. It was indeed a "cozy retreat" for our family. »

« La casa Ú grande, ben tenuta e molto ben fornita. La posizione Ú buona, anche se non ha accesso diretto al lago, comunque ha la vista sul lago. I soffitti al piano superiore sono molto bassi, ma per il resto non ci sono particolari difetti. C'Ú una grande tranquillità nei dintorni e la zona Ú molto bella. Ci siamo rilassati e divertiti durante il nostro soggiorno! »

« Great location a short walk from Keuka College's nice little beach head, where we swam, kayaked, and played games, and a quick drive to restaurants and shops in Penn Yan. Plenty of bed space for our 4 kiddos and some toys and games to keep them occupied. Clean and comfortable, and lots of helpful instructions for appliances and lights posted throughout the house. We had a great stay and would definitely stay here again if we came back through! »
