« Loved our stay at the Menhaden! Everything was great especially the staff who went beyond our expectations...from offering us champagne and my husband a great mocktail to cleaning the snow off our car! The place is so pretty and the bar has all fun games & all albums you can play. The king room was large, no bath though :( and it was a bit cold in there, they did try and fix it though. Breakfast and goodies available all day on our floor with sodas, water, coffee and cappuccinos :). »

« Cabin was clean, well appointed and very comfortable. The staff immediately responded at 7am when we called to reset the hot water heater. The Solo fire pit looked very tempting but we did not have the time to enjoy that. will be back! »

« Great place to stay for a travelling break - hotel environment, unfortunately too many closed boutiques and restaurants early week days (Monday to Wednesday). Staff is great and we felt welcomed. »

« This place was a dream. Super comfortable. The host has thought of everything, including a sweet holiday welcome gift. Everything is in walking distance- I didn't use my car for 2 days. It was wonderful to walk along the water into town. What a great retreat! »

« What a very special place this is. Wilfred and Vida are truly brilliant hosts. When we arrived they sat with us and had a lovely chat about the house and the area, recommended places to eat and provided lots of local intelligence. Tea and coffee is served in the room at 8am followed by a very generous and delicious breakfast. The two of them are a totally charming couple with their great sense of humour, stories and kindness They could give lessons on what true hospitality should be. »

« This hosts properties are so thoughtfully stocked, ,i felt home only nicer! Cabana is a real treat. Beautiful, new, clean, beautifully done. Every need of staying away in a home is thought of. Great area in walking distance to town as well. Host is always available for quick communications.well. »

« We spent a few days to attend a family wedding. We were 7 and the house was extremely comfortable for all of us. The house is 2 floors and there is no bathroom upstairs so keep that in mind when assigning sleeping arrangements. We found a well stocked welcome basket and a bottle of wine which were very much appreciated. The location is perfect as it is in the middle of wine country, less than 2 miles from the beach and near quaint little towns. We would definitely stay there again. »
