« The room is nice but there are some (recurring) issues with this hotel. The cable TV does not work. There is septic tank smell coming up through the drain pipes. There was no phone in the room (and they failed to bring it despite 3 seperate requests). The maid service is uneven (leave things in the trash, forget to put back towels, etc.). Its OK for Port Vila as long as you pay less than 15 000 Vatu per night for your room. »

« Very nice resort, well maintained, perfectly decorated and in an amazing location. A few more options at the restaurant and a bit more entertainment in the evenings would totally add to it »

« For our first time in Vanuatu we managed to book 2 nights here before moving over to Port Vila for the remainder of our trip. The transfer from the airport to the banana boat and then welcome to the hotel was great after a delayed flight. If you have mobility issues, this probably isn’t the place for you as you’ll need to manage your bags on a floating pontoon. The staff are all incredible and so kind. We checked in to villa 2 and while we booked through Expedia, we were sent a text long...

« Cosmetically fixed but not well. Sloppy paint job. A large portion of the louvers are broken and can't be closed. The aircon is useless because the bungalow has all open windows. The safe didn't work. The fridge was dirty. You can hear all the next door bungalows as they have all been crowded onto a limited piece of land. The actual beach at the end of the land is nice and clean with nice space to swim. »

« Hi Island Magic Resort is a little bit out of Port Vila which we enjoyed. We also loved the self catering....could get fresh vegies and fish from the markets but also great to have Birdies cafe on site after busy day snorkling etc. The food was delicious especially the specials and the staff were lots of fun. The villas were lovely and had everything we needed for a relaxing break. It's also an easy walk to Tanna Coffee which was an added bonus. »
