« Extremely spacious and well equipped with one exception, given the unusually warm weather—no AC, some fans, and no screens on windows that do open. The garden has a knockout location right on the river and some rooms also have this gorgeous view, including the huge bathroom with freestanding tub. There are however a lot of stairs. « This is an extremely well appointed Guest House set in lovely countryside. Very quiet since away from road and other buildings. It is important to recognise that this is a Guest House and not a Hotel and therefore there is no restaurant. The nearest eating house (local pub) is about half a mile away which in foot is down a busy unlit road. For more restaurants you need to travel the two miles into Crickhowell itself which has a range of restauants and take-aways (though food is not allowed in...

« Glangwili Mansion is a beautiful upmarket B&B, quite as good as all the previous reviews have rated it. The owners, George and Linda (and their friendly dog Willow), were welcoming and friendly and great at making suggestions of places to visit and places to eat. There is a great pub nearby and an excellent restaurant a little further away - for Londoners a meal to match anything in the city for half the price. « The owners were exceptionally nice and helpful. The interiors of all the rooms, lounge and dining area were wonderful, demonstrating a real flair. Bed linen, towels etc felt like they were new. We stayed three nights and would have been happy to have stayed 33. »
