« I had a really pleasant stay at this hotel while attending a work party. The side gate was a thoughtful touch, as it meant we didn’t need to walk through the pub when coming and going. After the evening and a few drinks, the cereals and biscuits provided were very much appreciated :) Having water, juices, tea, and coffee available was also such a lovely gesture. « Très bon hôtel, a 2 pas du Hertfordshire Sports Village où nous avions notre competition. Chambre très confortable, grande et bien insonorisée. Petit déjeuner copieux et bon. »

« Avec un cachet extraordinaire, on s'y plait à prendre une bonne bière assis au bar. Le restaurant offre une nourriture excellente. Les chambres sont très bien, il y en a des plus petites (vraiment) et des très grandes. Celle le long de la rue sont assez bruyante, on doit dormir la fenêtre fermé et il n'y a pas de climatisation. Mais les autres chambres sur la cour, ont un confort parfait. Je n'hésiterais pas à y retourner. »

« The room was lovely, nice and big and well decorated. Lovely bathroom too. The pub was great, we only had a couple of drinks and breakfast but no complaints. The only small thing is we only had one bath towel in our room, we intended on running downstairs to ask for another one but ran out of time before we head to head out. »
