„Our 1st stay, happy with this hotel, the price, hotel building, big car park space, seating outdoor in the centre for smoking.
Inside room with new furnishings, painting, small table and chairs, good bed and good size room with courtyard at the back and cute bathroom. Happy 😊
We will be back next trip to Sydney.“

„Right in town and incredibly comfortable and quiet. The room is big so it was great having the fireplace and later the reverse cycle, so a nice option in winter. Gunderoo is definitely small but it’s an excellent option if you want to stay out of Canberra for the night and the food options are great.“

I normally don’t leave bad reviews, especially when the host has been friendly.
To be honest, the stay wasn’t great mainly due to cleanliness and basic setup. It feels like the cleaning and preparation aren’t properly checked. Not sure if this is run by a third party, but if so, the cleaner didn’t do the job properly.
When we arrived, 1. most bathroom items like hand wash and body wash were empty with only a bit of shampoo left, 2. ...
