So weit war alles in Ordnung

Average hotel. Okay for one night in Milan. Parking facilities are very limited: You have to be lucky to be able to park your car within the hotel premises. No valet parking. Breakfast features a wide range of choice while quality is average. In the rooms it is noticeable that the hotel is not aging well. Lacks of maintenance, especially in the bathroom. Nice and cool temperature even in summer, but while the a/c can be switched off, the ventilation cannot - which can be uncomfortable at night. Ambiance generally nice and pleasant scents in room and lobby. The lady at check-out was very kind and professional, which cannot be said of the colleagues we met at check-in. All in all: Not terrible, but you might find better options at better locations.

La posizione non è delle migliori. Può andare bene se si esce la mattina e si rientra la sera, ma per andare e venire dal centro non è molto comoda. Durante il giorno si può attraversare il Parco Ducale, molto piacevole, mentre la sera il parco è chiuso e ci si ritrova a fare un giro molto più lungo, poco illuminato e in strade isolate. L’hotel è grande ma datato e avrebbe davvero bisogno di qualche intervento di ristrutturazione. La nostra camera era piuttosto angusta, poco luminosa e arredata in uno stile superato, più simile alla stanza di una nonna che a un hotel a quattro stelle. Le foto online risultano sicuramente più accattivanti della realtà. Per quanto riguarda il parcheggio, viene indicato come gratuito, ma i posti gratuiti davanti all’ingresso sono meno di dieci. Abbiamo quindi dovuto lasciare l’auto nel “garage” a 15€ a notte, che tra l’altro non è un parcheggio custodito. Un punto a favore è la pulizia, ottima in tutti gli spazi.
