« Amazing options for breakfast! Hotel was clean and staff was amazing. Checking in after a 16 hr drive Veronica made it quick and easy for us to check in her hospitality was on point as well as the rest of the staff we encountered on our stay. »

« We were in the area for a ski trip which was a last minute addition, so accomodations were scarse. The Motel had rooms at a reasonable price. We had fairly low expectations. Everything was fine. A few things could be improved: 1. Need better curtains for the window that faces out front due to a very bright porch lamp. 2. Need a curtain for the bathroom window. We had to place a folder to block the view! 3. It was very hot in the room! Good for this winter weather if course, but was hard to...

« It was a rustic cabin, it had power, microwave, a good size fridge. Easy to get to, could park right out front. Had use of our own port-a-potty. Walking distance to the creek. Kids loved playing it in. Dog friendly. Owner was very friendly. We happen to come during out of normal hot temps… but at night still very comfortable. WiFi is only at the main house and had bring being our own bedding, that was unclear on this site… but on the main website it’s much more clear. Thanks again! If I ever...

« Lovely B and B in a stately, historic house. Marsha is an excellent host. The food is excellent and most comes from their working farm or other WV farms. The surrounding property is beautiful. My room was spacious and comfortable. »

« The view is absolutely stunning!! Host was amazing! CLEAN and I actually mean a clean house. You don't find that to often. Appreciate them so much for everything they offer and all the help. »

« Communication was excellent. Location was great for what adventures we had planned. The basement apartment had everything we needed. The two bedrooms, kitchen and bathroom was well equipped. Only thing that we did not enjoy was zero windows or way to see outside. Great place of you need a place to sleep, eat relax outside and quiet. »

The rooms were comfortable and the layout was perfect for our family. David was extremely receptive to all communication and went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable and enjoying our time in Canaan. « This property was absolutely beautiful, clean, and well stocked for a large family. The house itself feels very private because the cabins are spread apart. We went swimming at the beach, rented kayaks, went about 25 minutes away to Oakland, MD to Swallow Falls State Park and Deep Creek Lake. So much to do and everyone from grandma to the teenagers to the 1 year old had a blast. Kitchen is well stocked. Beds and couches are comfortable. Lots of towels. Would highly recommend »
