« The girl who checked us in was super sweet, hotel was bare bones but a clean place to spend the night. Would be nice if they had a little playground or the pool up and going. Thankful for a last minute CLEAN place to stay with great service! »

But this was a last minute trip on a holiday weekend with very few places having availability. Reviews were good here so thought i would give it a try. Was presently surprised how nice it was. Older motel that has been recently updated. Bathroom had newer hardware. Room had new windows, you could tell the owner put money into fixing up the motel. « This was a great last minute booking for us when we found Houghton did not have snow less than a week before our trip. We quick booked this knowing we would have to trailer our snowmobiles north and we were ok with it. There was a good bar nearby. The only slight issue is communication when we were not getting a response through the app. I finally found a number on an email and was able to communicate that was. Even with that it was a great extended weekend! »
