We came in for the weekend to leave Monday although ended up staying another evening. The lake view is perfect, the cottage was divine and quite large for $$. « We had a wonderful time at the Lake of the Woods. It was a very relaxing place. What I liked mostly is the private lake because it was just steps away and we did not have to have a licence. We enjoyed fishing with my husband. The older stove/oven/refrigerator/ pantry was super charming. I also liked that although it was in the woods and felt far away from the city, Showlow was jist 10 mins away if we forgot something or wanted to have a nicer ait down dinner at a restaurant. »

« This was an amazing experience for my family! We had 3 generations and people with many different needs and the space seemed to have something for everyone. A big fenced yard where everyone could play cornhole, enjoy the hot tub or chill on the porch or around the firepit. We could see the stars at night, it was peaceful, but being only a few minutes away from Show Low Lake was convenient for a nice day trip.
