« We really enjoyed staying at the Eco Retreat Karijini. Great experience to spend time in nature. We were lucky to have access to hot water and toilet in our tent. The nights were rather cold and there is not heating unit in the tent; fortunately we had heating blankets. I definitely recommend if you visit the park. »

« Unfortunately our experience at Oasis at Newman was not a great one. The room was very small and there was an unpleasant odour in the room. The sheets were stained, the bed was tiny, the walls were very thin (we could hear noise through the walls), there was a scratch on the TV and there was no milk in the fridge (the staff were helpful when I went to ask for it, though). Considering how expensive the room was, we were left disappointed with the venue. »

« The building is old and dated, there was a broken electrical connection with exposed wires. The armrest of the couch was covered in dried up food that should have been removed when it was still moist, it looked like a toddler had eaten Weetbix or soggy toast on it. The TV was hard to use as could only find a small range of channels. »

« The brochure was far more glamorous than the actual property. These were miners cabins, small as a caravan, old, well worn, bed pushed up against the wall so not readily accessible (unless you are extremely agile) the air conditioner was emitting a foul odour (Old and musty smell). We decided not to stay and the staff were really fabulous about our decision. I think also that the fact that the breakfast was included but was to be finished by 7am was a tad unfair to travellers although more...
