« Booked El Khalil pyramids hotel, turned up, a man said sorry we dont have your booking, you will need to pay again. Interesting, as i had already paid. I check all the details and pictures, same hotel. The guy says we dont have online bookings or listings, you need to book direct only, this listing isnt his. So i call his bluff, phone the number listed under the booking details, his phone rang... rigjt there infront of me. We had some back and forth, but in the end he was just saying the price...

« This motel is a few hundered metres over the Zambia/Zimbabwe border so convenient if you cross late in the day and want to the avoid travelling South in the dark. The front desk had no record of my Expedia booking but were very helpful and did everything to make us welcome. The rooms are basic but clean with functioning air con. We ate in the hotel bar and the food is basic but functional. Not a destination but certainly served its purpose and the customer service was exceptional. »
