„I came to Hacienda Roman knowing that in this part of Peru, you can't expect all the amenities like WiFi, cable TV, etc. If you go in with reasonable expectations, you'll be happy with this hotel. The pros: Staff are quite nice. Food is tasty and available fresh on site. Personal attention, especially the tour of the coffee/jungle out back, is phenomenal. „Zweckmäßige Unterkunft - direkt zwischen dem Fluss und der Bahnstrecke (sehr laut!) in Aguas Calientes. Ideale Lage um zum Touristenzug nach Cusco sowie zu den Bussen zum Machu Picchu zu gelangen, ein frühes kleines Frühstück wird ab 4.30h angeboten. Gepäck wird ebenfalls kostenlos aufbewahrt. Für eine Nacht in Ordnung, länger wird man aber ohnehin nicht in Aguas Calientes bleiben (wollen).“

The staff went above and beyond to help us feel comfortable. They also stored our luggage even after we checked out, so we could visit Machu Picchu without having to carry them all the way.
