Good location, unit was pretty nice, laundry was nice also. Towels and all were laid out so easy to find. The shower easily overflowed/splashed into the bathroom floor, which isn't ideal, but I have also seen happen in hotels. Also the bathroom didn't have an apparent place to hang a hand towel. Also several small spiders smooshed on the walls and a couple walking around. Likely due to it being an older building.Everything else was perfect. Split units kept the place nice and cozy.

Yes she had details about how to get access to the apt and responded to questions. We also received help with parking, which was a great help.The bathroom didn't have a place to hang towels and due to the construction of the shower, there was extra water on the floor.. Also the Tv didn't have any free access channels. The location was very convenient and her security provided safety.

Great stay near Empire Plaza and Downtown

Cute ground floor one bedroom in a brownstone with fresh decor and ample space. Clean and welcoming with easy checkin/checkout. No communication issues and I booked at the last minute. Space has outdoor area and is stocked for basic cooking with extras like coffee pods and tea bags. Easy walking distance to downtown in quiet safe neighborhood. Found street parking easily on a holiday weekend. Would definitely stay again.

Charming little place

Charming little place! The refrigerator wasn’t working when I arrived, but the owner was very responsive and had it replaced during my stay, which I really appreciated. I gave the place a 4 for cleanliness only because there were some spider webs in the corners along the baseboards. Otherwise, it was clean, cozy, and comfortable. Parking is limited to on-street options, but it's a short and convenient walk to the MVP Arena, which was a big plus!

Super clean and convenient

Positives: Super clean and great location. Linda the owner was super nice and accommodating. Needs: the heating unit was confusing. A sheet with an explanation would be helpful as it was very cold when we arrived. No remote for the tv. Lack of response from the property manager. I messaged several times over a few days with zero response. I finally called the owner who was super nice and apologetic. She explained the heat and issued our parking permit.

A life saver

Came to Albany for under 24 hours and had to be at the convention center. Location was within walking distance of it and one of the only places I could find so close. It was super easy to access once I figured out what I was doing. Owner was kind and responsive when I needed assistance with something. Was SO thankful I could do a little laundry that I needed for the next day instead of having to go buy a new outfit. Place was quiet and I felt safe staying here solo. Thanks Linda!

We loved how close we were to the NY State Museum and Capital. Parking was challenging, and we were given the wrong code to the lock box so we had to wait for someone to let us in. But, Linda responded quickly to get us help, and once inside, the apartment was clean and the bed was very comfortable.

This property is set on a quiet street not far from the Immaculate Conception Cathedral, the Empire State Plaza, and the State Capitol. It is hilly but if one can walk to Lark St, the down town capitol area and such if weather permits. The street is quiet; I did not need a parking space and one is permitted (if you ensure you respond to the property owner/manager in time) but I'm not sure I'd expect a park out front on street...the area was obviously built up before the use of so many vehicles. The place is very spacious and furnished. One could easily host a dinner party, for example, as it has a fully working stove and kitchen. There is a clothes dryer, and washer but bring one's own washing liquid/detergent (front loader). The only thing I took a star off for are somewhat minor: 1. The floor, whilst clean and well maintained, so in the cold months it is somewhat cold to walk on, and slippery when wet 2. It could do with a towel rack in the bathroom but I'm not sure where I would put it (the bathroom is not large, as such, although the shower is quite spacious The reverse cycle air conditioner works well enough excepting for the floor which remained stubbornly cold. Would I stay again? Definitely. With my only real complaint being the cold, marble floors, I would simply bring some slippers to wear when just staying at the appartment.

NY Capital City Historic Neighborhood Gem

I am a single woman in my 70s. I was coming to Albany to do genealogy research at the Archives and New York State Library. This was a great location close to the Capital and the Library. Parking can be a challenge so I recommend coming home by 6 PM to find a location along the curb. I ate out one night and had to park around the block. The neighborhood is quiet and I felt safe enough. I would prefer to get in by dark. It was clean and had everything I needed.
