Upon check in we discovered the apartment was full of dead flies. Maybe cleaned a few months ago, but not pre-check-in. We vacuumed the flies, and realised the vacuum cleaner absolutely stinks....like really un-usable bad. The flies soon came back, there is a problem in the kitchen (cupboard near the window) and downstairs bathroom (drain on floor) ...30/40 new flies a day. Disgusting. Window blinds on both upstairs windows are broken and do not open, they are mouldy too. The extractor fan in the upstairs shower room hangs out the ceiling on one live wire - too dangeroues to use that room. Overall the place needs many small jobs to be made usable. The kitchen is poorly equipped - old frying pan with no handle, pots and pans with wobbly handles about to break off, no cork screw, no spatula, missing basic utensils. Check in and out are complex and involve lots of walks....'contact security upon check in' ...they are not on-site and do not respond to pressing the entry buzzer by the gate so you need to park by the main road and walk to the apartment to then return with the parking barrier key fob. We were delighted to leave. It could be good - like the photos suggest - just needs some money spent and handyperson to attend for a few days to fix all the broken items. Also no bedside lamps, sofa torn, bedroom furniture like it was found in a charity shop. Hate to do negative reviews....I normally would leave no feedback but this one ruined our holiday.
