„We stayed here it was a wonder visit. Nice and peaceful if you want to be away from the hustle and bustle. Communication was was wonderful and the cabin was adorable and comfy.“

„Osprey Cabin was almost new, and had very nice furnishings. It was a very hot afternoon when we arrived, so the closed cabin was stuffy and the lack of AC noticeable in trying to cool it down. We appreciated the communication from the manager and the easy check-in/out. The property is attractive and near the pond, but if there were other things to do, they were all locked up.“

We visited Nevada City and decided to stay in a cabin of this hotel that is located in Virginia City - but the cabins are right next to the old museums town of Nevada City. So, you drive one mile back and get an authentic cabin of the settlers (but with modern elements like power, AC, hot water, etc). „Too rustic for us.“

„The room was clean and great for being out of the way. No Wifi, no TV so that is what was expected. The part that I didn’t like was finding it. Please put up some kind of signage. Nothing said Hangman’s Ranch, there was no number 18 on the property entrance only a no trespassing sign. We drove a long way down a dirt road looking for it but kept seeing no trespassing signs. Finally we turned around and took a chance on the entrance that was closest to the main road that said no trespassing. ...

„Amazing tiny home! Very clean, great location alongside the creek, near a country road but very little noise/traffic, pet friendly, host was great with communication. Very peaceful and relaxing. They had all the necessities for cooking inside or grilling outside - even measuring cups, steak knives, salt/pepper, a few spices, laundry supplies, decent pots/pans, dishes, etc. And the most important - the necessary set up for coffee or tea!
