« Spotlessly clean, very spacious apartment,design decor very good . Tiny things to mention - property is actually called “ Wagonway” not “ Old Workhouse “ so can confuse when locating it . Would be good if enough dishwasher tabs were supplied - as a say tiny things »

« Lovely little cottage. Had everything one needed, especially in the kitchen. Appliances easy to operate. Very comprehensive folder about the cottage and area. Appreciated the many suggestions. Nice courtyard garden, to enjoy the many goodies in the welcome back. Older, or people with mobility issues might find the three steps up to front door tricky. However, there are handrails. »

« A very comfortable and convenient property right next to Alnwick Castle with everything you needed for a great holiday. A great place for just being able to wander and walk round Alnwick. A few minutes to Alnwick Gardens, The Castle, Barter Books. Good pubs and restaurants right on your doorstep, we would recommend the Tanners Arms for a good beer and make sure you eat at Lilburns which is just great food. Easy for touring the Northumbrian coast. Visit both Howick Gardens on the way to Craster...

« Not the apartment for you if you have mobility issues as there are two flights of stairs to negotiate to get to the bedrooms / bathroom. Entry is directly from the road and there is an immediate smell of mustiness / damp which gives an initial poor impression. However, the living room / kitchen is quite cosy and warm once heating is on. Television is antiquated with poor picture and a remote control that doesn't function properly. Bedrooms are fine although be warned about the large bright...

« Could be a great property if some money was spent on maintenance. It’s in a central location right next to the castle and shops. However, the carpets are stained and need replacing or cleaning. The curtains are falling off the rails. The sofa cushions smell like a dog slept on them. There is also a really noisy outdoor bar next door which plays loud music all day and evening at the weekends. I think the bar has opened since we made the booking in March so we weren’t aware how loud it would...
