« A nice stay.
Pros : a quirky house not devoid of charm. It was nice to learn about the house history.
Cons : access direct on the A1 is a bit difficult. Room (especially bathroom) and staircase access too cramped. Confusion about the breakfast hours. »

« Stayed one night prior to visiting Alnwick gardens, chosen primarily for location.
Staff very friendly and helpful,we did not have any meals there as we walked into Alnwick.
Pleased to have a kettle and coffee available in the room for the morning.
As others commented the bathroom plumbing was very noisy, with drainage smells apparent.

« Did not appreciate a separate bathroom from our bedroom. We booked 12 months in advance and I am sure that I would not have booked if I had noticed that. Our room was situated at the top of the stairs which meant other guests walking past possibly as you were heading to have or return from a shower. Our room could also be seen from a public area (a small corridor from the main bar to the beer garden) which is not good especially for a woman.
The hosts went out of their way to find us...

« I loved this opportunity to stay in Ingram, at the East entrance to the Northumberland National Park. This B&B is luxurious, quiet and lovely, with great food and atmosphere. There is easy access to beautiful walks in and above the Breamish Valley.
I would definitely stay here again. »

« Staff totally dedicated to ensuring the best guest experience. Annemarie was a credit to the place. It was lovely to chat with the owner over breakfast. Both the hospitality tray and breakfast put many other establishments' offerings to shame. The view from room 8 was lovely. We will definitely return. Thank you »
