This was our 3rd time staying here. Comfortable bed and furniture. Excellent WiFi. Good heat and air conditioning. Only caveat was cleaning crew missed the toaster oven and the main oven. Everything else was very clean.
This location was a great choice to stay for me and my dog. We enjoyed the quiet seclusion and the close proximity to many parks for trail hiking and sight seeing. Thank you for the hospitality
This cabin has everything you need & is comfy & cozy. Itâs a great location for hiking at Savage Gulf. Close enough to the Caverns for a beautiful night of music under the stars.
If you are in the area for say a concert at the cavernâs or just doing some hiking or outdoors activities, this place is perfect. Small full kitchen, most everything you need at your disposal. The place was clean and well maintained. Loved our stay!
A friend and I took a day-cation to visit Greeter Falls. The cottage was just minutes from the trailhead, and the waterfall did not disappoint! The hike was easy/moderate, the rock formations were spectacular, and the water was a crystal clear bluish-green that you donât typically see in Tennessee!
We drove up early for the hike, drove into Monteagle for a early dinner at Mountain Goat Market which had phenomenal food (sandwiches, desserts, and a cute gift shop), and then headed to the cottage to relax for the night before heading home the next morning
The cottage was perfect. Easy to find. Very modern. Extremely clean. The kitchen was well-stocked. The bathroom was generously stocked with all your needs (just bring your toothbrush and toothpaste). And the beds were comfortable. It will comfortably sleep four. Thereâs a queen bed in the bedroom and bunks just outside the door by the bathroom. Each bunk has a reading light and up-to-date plugs the have usb charger ports.
I highly recommend the cottage! And communication with Joe was simple and seamless.
The hosts were lovely and kind AND gave us a great recommendation for dinner (Hank's Place) and the cabin itself was very nicely decorated (loved the cow painting over the bed!) It was very clean and had comfortable beds. Although we did not cook, we noticed that the kitchen was well stocked. It was off the beaten track but if you are going hiking or want quiet peaceful surroundings--perfect!
Just a minute away from Greeter Falls, this little place was perfect for our stay in the area. We visited Greeter, Foster and Savage Falls while in Altamont. We drove to Monteagle to eat, and everything was easily reachable and accessible. The rental had everything we needed for coffee and cooking supper while there. Nice, clean and well stocked! Thank you so much!
The cottage was everything we hoped it would be. So clean and well furnished. We loved our visit and will definitely plan on going back. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. Highly recommend it.
We really enjoyed our cottage at Greeterâs Lodge. Nicely decorated and comfortable. Our place was super clean which I really appreciate. Easy drive to The Caverns for our concert plus several hike close by. Joe was so easy to work with. We will definitely visit again.
Wonderful, cute and peaceful place to unwind! Beautiful surroundings and close by many waterfalls. Joe was an awesome host and very responsive, would definitely stay again!
Great stay for Bonaroo weekend! The cottage was a peaceful oasis, very comfortable, clean and close to Manchester, Nashville and Chattanooga. Friendly owners and staff, super easy check in/out.
This was our first trip to this area of TN. Joe was amazing with communication and accommodation! The cabin was beautifully decorated, nice and clean, and so pleasant! We will definitely be coming back and staying with the Gray's!
Perfect little getaway. Itâs small in size, but just right for what we needed. It had everything you need after a day exploring. Would stay again for sure. It was my first time booking with vrbo & everything went perfect.
This was the perfect get-away for a serene and relaxed environment. All expectations were met and then some. We highly recommend this property as it was in pristine condition. The Host (Mr. Gray) was more than happy to assist with any needs. Go on down to Altamont, TN and enjoy the hospitality.
PS: dinner tableâs chairs need pillows. (Made for those who want to eat and RUN).
