« What a great place this is! The cottage is really cosy and well laid out. Trawden is gorgeous, and the community shop is well worth a visit or two. Alex is an excellent host. Highly, highly recommended. »

« Good base for accessing Lake District. »

« East to find nice and clean let down by no welcome pack , really badly scratched non stick pan (should be binned) biggest problem no ventilation at all in the bedroom small rooflight in the small ensuite .booked for a week left 2 days early due to no way of getting any fresh air in the bedroom way to warm. A rooflight in the bedroom would solve the problem . »

« Absolutely perfect for the price nice and out of the way, loved everything about this and I will definitely book again. Never booking a travel lodge again thank you »

« We've always wanted to stay here. It's amazing and well presented. The balcony was used to the full. Bed so comfy, excellent nights sleep. Champagne in the fridge. Dishwasher if you need it. There's no downside to the Boathouse and we don't really want to leave. It has been a dream come true. »

« I've been staying in holiday lets in Keswick for many years and I'm pretty sure that this is the best I've stayed in. Great location in the middle of Keswick, and happily my favourite restaurant in town is on the ground floor of the building! A few days into my stay the latch on the main entrance to the building was loose and likely to fall off soon - I...

« Clean room, good location, parking included »

« This was our third visit to Spa Cottages. It is a great base for exploring the Lake District. Parking can be a bit tight, but for the majority of the time we were able to park directly outside the property. »

« The house really makes the most out of its space. Really comfortable and modern yet still cosy. Everything is new, clean and well thought out. Having the downstairs toilet outside is a bonus and also the outhouse with washing machine, drier and freezer - it just frees up so much space. The house instantly feels spacious even though it is quite a small footprint and the garden is beautiful and secure. My parents live in Braithwaite so I know it well and it really does have everything, including...
