Although our stY was very short (sadly) we had the most amazing time! This place is a close to Barbados as you can get! House was great but the location is the best part. We will be back!

I would reiterate every prior positive comment and amplify them. This is a phenomenal house and location. Probably the best spot on Anna Maria, amazing layout and amenities, and owner communication is best in class. Absolutely loved our few days and wish we stayed longer.

Holiday getaway

The house was perfect for our family. It was clean and comfortable. Great location. Walking distance to beach. Pool are is fenced and a wonderful area to hang out. Pet friendly is a plus for us. Rental company was easy to deal with and kept in contact to be sure all was well. Would definitely stay here again.

Awsome location

This awsome place is sitting at the best location. Just steps away from the beach and a few more steps away from some local stores, restaurants and rental spots. The house was as described. Plenty of space for my family of 5, parking in the garage was convenient and spacious for my suburban. Pool was perfect for us as we didn’t require anything larger. Just couldn’t ask for more. The sunset from the roof patio was beautiful. We will definitely be renting this place again in the very near future.

Nice location but issues

Location is great, house is generally very nice but a few issues. Floors were dirty, I stepped in something sticky right at entrance to loving room and used a wet towel to wipe it up and the towel turned black from the dirt. Given there wasn’t a rush to get it ready before our arrival and they didn’t allow me to enter early because they ‘were still cleaning’, this was disappointing. I took Uber from airport and since I didn’t have a car I sat on front porch for 3 hours while they were ‘cleaning’, and of course there wasn’t anyone there, that is just there way to tell you to wait until checkin. Garage door openers didn’t work, reported 1st day that they weren’t getting power, left them up all week, they sent someone to look and told me they would have to call electrician. Second day the washer died, however I suspect they knew there was issue because they didn’t even offer to have someone come look they had a new washer dryer delivered the next morning. Elevator stopped and was stuck in blackness for a few minutes, finally powered off and then on and it must have reset it. Sent their maintenance guy to look at it and he sent it up and down a couple of times and said it was fine. Not sure I would trust it. Pool heater stopped working day or 2 after we arrived. Sent their maintenance guy out and he said he would have to call the ‘vendor’. Somebody showed u; last day we were there and replaced a 10 dollar capacitor and said give it 24 hours to warm up. Lol, I had to be out by 10am the next day. Asked for a credit since we couldn’t use pool and received no response Workers showed up and blocked driveway 3 days in and started working at side of house, I asked what they were doing and they feigned they didn’t speak English. I say that because when the enforcement officer stopped and told them to move his truck he all of a sudden could speak English. Anyway, called office and told them they had people onsite and they said there shouldn’t be as they didn’t schedule anything. They called back and said the owner had scheduled direct and they weren’t aware, had the workers leave and reschedule. Got a ticket for parking over the sidewalk because garage door snafu. My fault, should have known better. WARNING. They are serious about their parking i/enforcement, saw multiple people getting tickets. Lastly, I would suggest they inventory the kitchen.. No hot pads, only non stick skillet had the Teflon mostly peeled, and only one decent knife

30th birthday weekend

Water Colors checked all of the boxes for our perfect family getaway! The beach is steps from the home which made our trip so much easier with a baby. Restaurants, shopping and ice cream are all within a block from the home! We spent a lot of time in the great pool and hot tub. We will return!

Will definitely come again!

I can’t recommend this property and island enough! We had a fantastic long weekend with our family and friends. Our kids loved the beach and the afterbeach pool. The location is perfect, half a block from an amazing beach and in the middle of shops and restaurants. The house if perfect for 2 families and fully equipped. The only regret is that we should have stayed longer! There’s a million things to do!

Great location and loved the house

The house and location were great. It’s literally 4 houses in from the beach! The beach area by the house was quiet in mid-November but not empty, and the sand was the nicest I’ve ever seen. The water is quite shallow and there’s a sandbar about 50 ft out, perfect for young kids! The heated pool was also great and so was the hot tub and covered outdoor area! The house had plenty of space for twin 3 year olds, parents, grandma and an aunt. We could have easily had a few more and not felt cramped. We loved being a short walk from Pine and there is a great restaurant at the end of the block and another a couple blocks down on the beach (the Porch and the Sandbar). There are many more options in walking distance too. We did have a few complaints but nothing was a deal breaker: -Our access code never worked for the keypad so we had to call to get a workaround. We were able to get in at arrival only because the door wasn’t locked!! We did rent cribs for the kids and a stroller so I assume the delivery/setup people are at fault for the door being unlocked when we arrived. -It took us a few days to figure out the hot tub and heated pool system because it isn’t explained in the book or any materials we noticed. If the hot tub is on, then the heated pool is not. If the hot tub is not on, then both are heated to the temp of the heated pool. -The grill had not been cleaned in a very long time which resulted in a small grill fire -There’s literally no cleaning supplies or any kitchen basics (salt, pepper, etc.). Maybe this is a Covid policy, but I’d think at least cleaning supplies would be a good idea. We would definitely consider this home again if we visit AMI in the future!

Fantastic accommodation and location

Really nice place with plenty of space. We love the 4 different outdoor levels including the rooftop to watch the sunsets and the stars over the Gulf of Mexico. Great location to walk to great coffee shops and the beach. The pool was well maintained and very enjoyable. The place is quite large, you may feel there's a bit too much space for one family of 5. Highly recommend!

Very Nice Location

First of all this property is very nice and the location is incredible. I do want everyone to know they do not allow you to modify the A/C below 72. When I found this out I tried calling but had to wait until someone was available in the office. They agreed to lower it but only to 70. My two children sleep with scarfs and bonnets, on silk sheets, and are used to 68 which seems like a reasonable number. I'm on my vacation, at a place that costs quite a bit per night, and I want to be comfortable. To me, this is ridiculous and unnecessary considering the cost of the property. There were a few others things at the property that didn't work like lights, the ice maker, and water dispenser. I notified the company and I believe they are getting those items addressed but didn't have time to during our stay due to shipping times. The house was very clean and neat, the couches were comfortable which is surprising for a rental so that was nice. The beds and linens were about as nice as you'd expect. The best part of the property is the pool, and proximity to the beach which was never even close to crowded even on a holiday. Overall the property was nice, I think the maintenance part could be stepped up a bit, and the A/C policy is unfortunate but if stay there again if they allow me to adjust it.

Gorgeous AMI Beach Rental

Our family (three kids) stayed at AMI during an impromptu spring break. The property is large and well appointed, beach vibe throughout. Pool was perfect for the mornings and after the beach. Loved walking 2 minutes to such a beautiful beach, very quiet except on the weekends when there was a good beach scene. We would love to return!

Picture perfect location!

This house is more than perfect... location can not be beat and it’s so darn cute. Given the price of a weekly rental, the quality of linens was disappointing. They are practically see through and ALL of the pillows need to be replaced. They are in really bad shape. The kitchen is lacking a few helpful basics and the frypans should probably be replaced but all in all it’s above and beyond fantastic. I would have rented again for next year on the spot but it’s already blocked off. Wasn’t sure why the mgmt. company offers to roll your deposit over if it’s unavailable. Anyway... it was a fanstastic week. It’s a fantastic home.

Excellent location and great house!

AWESOME place! It fit two couples and 4 teens nicely and had bedding for one more. It wasn’t in the info but there is a pull out chair for one in the loft. The pool was great! Nice to have although not very refreshing as it was HOT the week we were there. Location was PERFECT! We could easily get all our gear to and from the beach. The beach was nice as well and not very crowded. This made it easy to social distance. We cooked all but two meals in and swam in our private pool and the beach was open enough that we were far from others. My only complaints are the alarm EVERY time you went in and out the slider door. I realize this is a safety issue but being a homeowner with a pool- I know there are far more effective ways to safeguard your pool from little ones. The alarm DID have a high up bypass button coming in or out but the door is super heavy and it literally only gave you five seconds to get out and shut the door. 10-15 seconds seems more reasonable as if I had my hands full I literally couldn’t get out and shut the door in time before the alarm went off. The only other complaint is that the second floor deck and the captains nook deck were only accessible through the master bedroom. People wanted to drink their coffee up there in the am but didn’t want to wake/disturb the occupants of the master bedroom. A set of stairs from the main floor to the 2nd story would resolve this. Overall the place was clean, functional and beautifully decorated. The master was AMAZING and had gulf views. We would stay here again and thoroughly enjoyed our week!
