Casa el Mirador - Authentic Spanish Country House

Beautiful Spanish country house with swimming pool, where there is thought of very little detail in the decor, from the hook in the bathroom for your towel to the beautiful lamps for the paintings on the walls painted specifically for the house by the Norwegian artist Jane Rasmussen, when she first rented the house.



The country house is situated in the mountains at Algarrobo with just 3 km to the nearest town and 6 km to the beach. The villa is situated in quiet and scenic surroundings with a breathtaking panoramic view of the mountains and the coastline. It is even possible to see all the way to Malaga, and in very clear weather it’s possible to see the Riff mountains in Africa. The villa has a 145m2 living area and is decorated in a beautiful rustic style with high ceilings and many fine details.



The country house is in 2 levels and includes on ground floor: Large aesthetic hall with staircase leading to the first floor, nice and dining room and a kitchen in open connection. The kitchen is very well equipped with dishwasher, ceramic hob and oven. There is direct access from the kitchen to the terrace and barbecue area. There are 3 large and comfortable double bedrooms, all with fitted wardrobes, air conditioning and ceiling fans. Master bedroom with bathroom en-suite. On the ground floor there is also a utility and storage room with laundry machine.



On the first floor you will find the tower room, which is very suitable studio that can also be used as a living room or extra bedroom with 2 sleeps on the sofa bed. There is access to a lovely terrace with panoramic sea and mountain views. This is a real opportunity to enjoy the breathtaking scenery, the mountains and the coastline.



The country house has a private pool 4x8 m and a lovely terrace which is partly covered. There is direct access to the terrace from both the living room and kitchen. There is under floor heating throughout the house with thermostat control in every room. Furthermore, the house includes; Wi-Fi, football table and Weber grill. The TV has NO channels!

The property is generally very well equipped, very tastefully furnished with quality furniture and appears as a real nice, cozy and very nice country house.



The plot includes figs, lime, avocado and lemon trees and herbs like rosemary and thyme, and you are more than welcome to pick a fresh fruit or use some of the fresh herbs in your cooking.
