Villa Leopoldina, immersed in a wide Italian-style meadow with a breathtaking view on the countryside and the surrounding hills, is a splendid sample of Tuscan rural architecture, dating back to the reclamation of the Valdichiana, established in the 18th Century by Granduca Leopoldo di Lorena, after who the architectural style and the villa itself are named.The whole complex, which hosts a chapel still consacrated, has been recently restored according to the new "green" philosphy that provided it with a photovoltaic system designed to guarantee the independence from the energetic point of view. Building materials, pieces of furniture and accessories in contemporary style make this villa a modern and elegant place: welcoming and comfortable, yet maintaining the authentic "taste" of the beautiful and majestic structure, untouched by time.The stone farmhouse: LeopoldinaThe ground floor boasts a spacious and elegant living room with stone fireplace and sitting area with sofas and satellite TV; magnificent dining room with large table ideal for groups up to 16 people; adjacent modern kitchen equipped with central island and up-to-date cooking devices. The floor is completed by a double bedroom with private bathroom, another bathroom with shower and laundry area. The first floor, used as sleeping area just like in the past, is accessible by both inner and outer staircase, the latter covered by a loggia. It is composed of two double bedrooms with private bathroom and two additional bedrooms, a double and a triple one, sharing a full bathroom with shower. In the Torre colombaia (the very top part of the house), which is another distinguishing feature of the Leopoldina architecture, there is a romantic double bedroom with private bathroom. Finally a triple bedroom with bathroom is located in the lovely stone annex.Garden and Pool:Inside the wide garden, guests can find the BBQ area, equipped with oven and grills; a gazebo where to enjoy al fresco meals overwhelmed by the smell of jasmine bushes and experience romantic sunsets in this part of countryside. The pool, equipped with solarium area and sunbeds can be reached both through the lovely staircase and the grassy ramp. Under the outer loggia it is possible to find a shadowed area with sofas and table where to eat open-air and an additional covered area equipped with kitchenette, fridge, sofas, TV, bathroom and dressing room.
