  • This stunning barn conversion offers beautiful open spaces inside and out, and sits on the owners non working farm that has been in the same family for over 100 years. With Alton Towers and Carsington Water nearby which make a great family day out. There are some fabulous walks on your doorstep with footpaths straight from the door or venture further a field, with Dovedale stepping stones and Ilam just over 12 miles away, sitting on the river manifold with gorgeous countryside views. There's something for everyone on the doorstep. Sport enthusiasts can engage in some clay pigeon shooting at Eaton Hall Shooting Ground (3.4 miles), tee off at nearby courses like Uttoxeter Golf Club (5 miles) or Ashbourne Golf Club (9 miles), or head to Uttoxeter Racecourse (5 miles). History lovers can visit Tutbury Castle (10 miles), Sudbury Hall (5 miles) or Chatsworth House just to name a few of the rich heritage properties nearby. The Peak district is just over 10 miles away, with lots of villages to explore, including Matlock Bath (20 miles) with its cable cars, river walks, inside golfing, arcades and much more.


    The property is accessed via a small ramp, and you enter the beautiful open-plan living space. This is the perfect gathering area, with lots of room for people to rest, relax, watch TV, or play a game together. The lounge area is complete with sumptuous stylish seating, with colour accents adding style and flair. The wood burner promises cosy, ambient evenings after a day’s exploring. The dining table sits in this space and is perfect for those evening meals together. The well-equipped kitchen leads off just to the side of the living room, offering lovely views of the garden. A downstairs cloakroom is a great space to store your coats and shoes, and leading off from here, the hallway leads to two double bedrooms with lots of space, lovely colours, and light, making wonderful rooms that are both pretty and practical, with plenty of storage. The large family bathroom has both a bath and a shower. Upstairs, the twin room offers lots of space and comfort, with its own en-suite shower room.


    Outside, there is a dining area within an enclosed garden space, and a BBQ on request offers the perfect al fresco dining experience. Why not enjoy an outside picnic, with the owner offering a beautiful picnic set for you to use during your stay? A large playfield is also yours to enjoy, with bench seating and lots of room for everyone to run around in the safety of this space. Countryside views and neighbouring farm animals just add to the appeal.
