We are big fans of your hotel and have enjoyed its facilities on several occasions. Generally speaking, everything was good +, with a special mention for the staff in the sports area and Nik (chief barman?) in the bar area. However, I'm bound to mention that my son and his family were offered a family room for £800+ for one night, which inevitably caused him to go elsewhere! What is really "strange" is that I paid just over £500 for 6 nights in a double room!

Used the hotel for an overnight stay to make the Eurostar connection. The hotel is well located. being 5 min by taxi from the station. The service was excellent & friendly, with the desk organizing the taxi and individual breakfast service for the early start. The room was above the stadards normally found for an overnight-type hotel, and a pleasant way to start out on a long journey. Would definitely use this service for a future trip Many Thanks

The property was average - communal areas were modern, bright and clean however, the rooms are old and dated and not particularly clean. There was no offer of an upgrade at check-in, I was sent an offer to upgrade for extra cost by the hotel prior to travel. The room did not have a fridge, we asked to move to a room with one, as my friend needed to store medication, but there was no availability for the 2 nights stay.

The Weatherspoons of hotels. Food was average to poor, both rooms had mould, ( we had to change rooms as first one had a bed with stains on it) staff overworked (too few for size of hotel/restaurant) parking was tight (small spaces) and generally felt unkempt. Would not be staying again. On a positive note the room As quiet and the bed was comfortable.

Overall the hotel is good value for money and conveniently situated if you have a car. It is a very busy hotel with conferences and thus this led to a shortage of coffee mugs for their own guests on one day. Although a dog friendly hotel, don't expect to be eating breakfast with your loved pooch, anywhere near the restaurant, especially if there is a conference going on. Considering there was a section of the restaurant that was a long way from any cooked food, this could have been opened up for customers with their dogs, instead on one day we had to eat our breakfast near the entrance doors of the hotel! Spa/swimming is available but attention is required on ensuring that lockers are not broken and floors are as clean as possible.

The only issues we had was when i booked it, i was garainteed an early check in due to a wedding, we weren't allowed to check in early and you aparantly don't do that. And then the mattress was awful, literally felt like we were laying on cardboard with a tiny bit of padding, both me and my wife struggled to sleep on it.

Conveniently placed just off motorway. I had chosen it as it was a ‘dog friendly’ hotel. Room was ok but a little tired. Shower good. Nice hand soap & body wash available. BUT the bed was the first one I’ve ever had the worst sleep on & ive stayed in countless hotels both for work & holidays. The mattress was so uncomfortable & uneven ( felt like I was rolling out. It was lumpy as well. I woke up so many times during the night and felt like I’d been through the boxing ring. So unfortunately I didn’t sleep which was the putt of my stay. Also, please don’t call yourself dog friendly if the dog can’t come with you to have breakfast, but you also can’t leave it in the room if it might bark, which is what I was told at reception when checking in. So I didn’t eat either.

Convenient stay
Ashford International was a good place to stay as that was where the Seas invert show was. However, there was limited front parking and no sign at the front to say there was more parking round the back. There were only two disabled places which was disappointing. The food was expensive and waited ages to be served at the bar due to only one staff member working. There should of been more staff knowing they had an invert show there. Unfortunately, we didnt use the facilities like we planned to. But time was limited as it closed at 8pm and we didnt arrive untill 6pm and needed to get food. We did take our own drinks and we used just eat without at issues. Overall for what it was, the room etc. I found it to be rather expensive but, we stayed for convenience. Otherwise i would of stayed at Premier Inn qhere the rooms were half the price

A strangely desirable hotel with excellent public spaces where people from different walks of life cross over. Staff are friendly, though there does need to be more of them (management issue). However, room was tired and we had to move due to boiler noise only to be ladled with road noise. To be honest, it’s understandable as the hotel is so large for staff to understand every room in detail - had we paid £70, and not £100, it would be worthy of a better review.

Hotel is lovely & clean , amazing space . If an event is on parking is awful. Went to have dinner told no room .went out for dinner & came back to have drink at the bar , no sign of anybody . Ended up going back uk room

Bitterly disappointed. Having used this hotel on numerous occasions when visiting from New Zealand. The room was freezing cold, was given a heater after complaining 2 days running but never offered another room. we invited family to stay with us from Birmingham in the disabled room which was also freezing. We had to wear our coats in the restruant and the reception area. Food was cold as were the plates and communal areas. A shortage of staff meant long waits for bar service. I appreciate its the off season but for a 4 star hotel it was sorely lacking. Will be looking for alternative accommodation on our next visit to the UK.

Very few guests. Heating turned off so very cold. Restaurant and reception so cold we wore our coats. Came from new Zealand invited family and were embarrassed at the place. Plates unheated food pnlu just warm. This realty needs to be addressed
