„We had a very happy stay at The Warren, a Georgian property beautifully modernised but still retaining charm and character. We were a party of 3 generations and having bedrooms on each of the 3 floors gave a good degree of private time. We had the lower ground floor bedroom which was beautifully cool in the scorching weather. There is everything you could possibly need at the property and it is all in very good order. "A small, cozy hotel with a lake, although you couldn't swim in it. Despite the highway, the hotel was quiet. With the window closed you couldn't hear anything, with the window open only noise (lake side). The building and the furnishings were a bit older, which was also partly visible. But it didn't look run-down. A renovation would do the hotel some good. The staff were always very friendly and helpful. The cleanliness left something to be desired in some places. I never felt unsafe there, there was plenty of parking and the food was also good."
