« Très charmant, cocooning, original, un vrai coup de coeur! Des produits locaux pour le bain/douche/soins et linge de lit. Excellent petit déjeuner, personnel sympathique et arrangeant. Au calme à la campagne, très agréable et détente assurée. Terrasse sympa pour boire un verre, déjeuner/dîner. Parking privé. »

« Well worth getting back to nature. A pleasant view as well. More home comforts than a shepherd would have had - certainly nice and cosy. The stove really puts out some heat. Give it a go, it’s a different accomodation! »

« A great place to stay for us as a stop over on the way to France via the tunnel (20 mins drive).Really comfortable beds, very clean, newly renovated, with a small sitting room and two beds with 2 bathrooms. Just what we were looking for and they let dogs stay. We usually stay in a Premier Inn but this was far better value, plus the pub downstairs was excellent. Good choice of beer, great food and perfect hospitality - what more could you ask for?? Fully recommended! »

« This is a lovely place to stay. Chris and Maureen are really helpful, and were very good with the enhanced cleaning/social distancing. « Lovely hosts. The cottage was clean, comfortable and very well equipped, don’t worry if you’ve forgotten anything! Has been decorated since photographs were taken so now more country cottage than Scandinavian. Terrace and outside of property very dusty but it is a farm yard and the weather was extremely hot.
