« Cottage 4 was a blend of rustic charm and recent updates. The beds and furniture were comfortable. We were a party of two, but it would have been roomy for four. The hosts’ welcome gift of local ice cream was a bonus. The location worked well for us. It was just off the highway, but quiet; and we had easy drives to explore towns and trails in the area. »

« At check-in, there were no 1st floor rooms available, desk clerk stated full house. My bad for not requesting 1st floor at time of booking. Room on 2nd floor was okay but didn't see a smoke alarm. « Stayed here from Sunday night until Wednesday, wanted to swim in the pool Monday but there were swim lessons in the pool most of the day (would have been nice to know before booking). Wednesday the pool was closed down per health department, hopefully it was safe to swim in on Tuesday. They provide one pool towel per person (calling it a towel was a stretch) and charge for additional towels. When I called to get my room number, I was told by the owner that it was project weekend and his son and about 15 friends were there helping him. We show up and can barely walk without tripping through all the extension cords and power tools.
