« The bedroom was furnished to a very high standard as was the interior of this beautiful historic building. The staff were friendly and the garden is beautiful. It was a very nice English experience in a pretty part of the world. »

« This is a gorgeous inn in a picture-perfect English village! The only issues I have is that the room for 3 people is quite inadequate in size and furnishings. A couple of hooks to hang clothes, a footstool as the only seating, no drawers and only one folding luggage rack, meaning we had to live out of suitcases on the limited floorspace. The restaurant was fabulous even though it had a very limited and expensive menu, and other options were in nearby towns. We would go back in a heartbeat if...

« Where do I start, staff helpful, rooms filthy (carpet stained, cobwebs everywhere, curtain hanging off rails) like an American motel that needs knocking down and rebuilding. Very strange rooms where there are two doors to get into the room totally pointless. This could be made really nice but needs a lot of money spent on it »

« Close to where we needed to be,comply bed. Parking is chargeable £8.20-24hrs Says restaurant,but no breakfast served. Loud music going on 1.30am Our door was broken,was told at check in,we was given impression someone was coming to look,no one did. Could not turn the water down to the shower,far too hot,so gave it a miss. Bathroom door did not shut,debris from that door in the bathroom. »

« Great staff. Room was modern and clean. The mattress was terrible though - I could feel the springs. The spa and pool were good, and the gym was surprisingly good. The grounds were pretty. »
