« Gnome Away from Home was a cozy tiny house. The atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing. The hostess was accommodating and had excellent recommendations for fishing and hiking spots. My pup especially enjoyed the farm. »

« this cottage is out of a fairy tale. However it is really a beautifully crafted building. All Oak paneling and trim throughout and done by craftsmen. Complete privacy. Easy access to town and surrounding areas. Plenty of opportunities to commune with nature both around the cottage and the beautiful Tennessee mtns. Only bummer was I discovered the swans were not real. »

« We visited the area for a festival and picked this location since it was in-town and close to the festival. We stayed with some friends, and it worked out perfectly. This property was clean and clearly renovated. The furniture was tasteful and not cluttered (just what you needed for your visit). The AC worked well and the rainfall shower in the master bathroom was too relaxing (spent too much time in there). We did not use all the facilities available, because we were out most of the time...

« We gave each of our grandkids an 'experience' for this past Christmas and our one grandson wanted to fish the Tennessee River. He and my husband, plus two very close family friends went for a 'guys' trip and they had a blast! The house had everything needed, the beds were comfortable, the dock was right there on the property, and the host was amazing and responded to any questions that we had. The lake is so beautiful and the marina just across the way were very easy to work with! Overall, 10!...

« The cottage was welcoming and comfortable. Screened in porch and backyard was peaceful and quiet. Kitchen and bathroom linens are well stocked, comfortable beds, and close to hiking trails. A wonderful experience with our awesome hosts Jerry and Debbie. We will definitely be back. »

« The property is absolutely amazing. So peaceful! We sat on the little patio and listened to nature both evenings. Even got to hear the donkeys nicker a couple times. We met the sweet gentleman that lives there and talked for few minutes. Was sure to let us know to call if we needed anything. BUT, this is the only time we saw anyone during our stay. Very private. We had everything we needed. Very roomy home. Close and easy 15 minute to where we were going in Knoxville. Would absolutely...

« House was as pictured. Cute little cottage on wooded property. Deck was comfortable to sit outside. Kathy was attentive to any questions. Check in and check out were both easy. Kathy was very accommodating! Would definitely stay again. »

« This cottage was adorable and perfect for an overnight stay! It was spacious and clean! Great shower pressure and comfy bed! Had difficulties finding the cottage at night. Before getting to the large private drive, you will make an immediate left (it will look like you’re driving into someone’s driveway) but the cottage will be on the right! Already planning a trip back and WILL book this again! Brian was quick to respond and extremely easy to communicate with! :) »
