Worst experience that I’m currently fighting….
BEWARE! This property is NOT as described. I’ve been asking for a refund since day ONE of booking. The VRBO host would not answer my calls. I contacted VRBO directly and they reached out to the host and was able to get her on a 3-way call. Two points I'd like to make. One, this property should NOT be allowed to be listed as it does not meet the standards to be a host property at all! Two, this host is less than professional and I dare say a crook! I work hard for a living and I don't have any money to just give away. This host/property NEVER be allowed on VRBO again. It's fraudulent at best. Also, i tried contacting the host on NUMEROUS occasions and VRBO had to get involved every time because the host wouldn't respond. I also have pictures to show the condition of the house when I arrived. And I DID NOT stay there because of those conditions. Additionally, I had a total of 7 guests for this Sweet 16 Birthday Getaway, and the house was "decorated" ( a term used very loosely) with empty liquor bottles, which I found to be inappropriate. As well as the owner requesting license plate numbers for vehicles that would be on the property so that she could give to police which I thought to be odd but once in the vicinity, I fully understood as the property was not in the safest area of town. I was accosted by a man rushing me and the girls upon arrival to see if he could mow the lawn (which was very overgrown) and stated that he had been coming by for weeks.
