Clean rooms. Well stocked kitchen. Plenty of space for three adults, one teenager and a three year old - especially during snowy times when we stayed at the house all day. We stayed the week of Christmas. I asked whether a Christmas tree was on-site -- it was a beautiful tree, set up and decorated nicely for our Christmas Eve arrival. I forgot to buy scotch tape for wrapping a few presents.. and asked if any was at the house - although there wasn't, they dropped some off the same evening along with a roll of wrapping paper. So thoughtful and appreciated! Driveway was plowed and salted before our departure too. (It was also scheduled after a snow storm during our stay but we decided it wasn't necessary.) Would absolutely stay here again.

This home is just perfect. Wake up in the morning to stunning views of the lake from multiple windows and close out the day watching the rainbow of colors as the sun sets across the lake. The home is welcoming, has breathtaking views, it has everything you need for a comfortable stay and the hosts are most accommodating and communicative. We hated to leave!

We enjoyed this lovely, spacious, fully stocked and super clean home for a long weekend. The grandparents appreciated the first floor bedroom. We all enjoyed the beautiful lake and breathtaking sunsets. Auburn is a great town, as is nearby Skaneateles. Definitely recommend!!!

Beautiful home! Everything you need to have a great stay! Check -in was very easy, kitchen was more than well appointed, wi-fi worked well and there are boosters throughout the home. Beds were very comfortable as was furniture in living areas. Rick was always available and responded quickly!

Great stay on Owasco Lake

We had a great vacation with 3 generations of our family, meeting in the middle between our homes in Ohio & NH. Beautiful home with plenty of room to spread out and enjoy amazing views of the lake from so many of the rooms, comfortable furniture, lovely deck for relaxing, a sturdy dock and kayaks! Our host, Ric, responded quickly to any questions. AND, he searched the house for a very precious stuffed animal that one of our granddaughters left behind & will mail it to us! She will be SO happy to have him back!

A Home by the Lake

We started the year off in this house when we celebrated New Year’s Eve here, and immediately we knew this was a special place. A beautiful home accompanied by the most breathtaking view of Owasco Lake. Needless to say, we were already booking our next stay here before we even left. Fast forward 8 months, and this house now holds one of the happiest memories of my life: the day I asked my best friend, Jade, to be my wife. I will never forget the moment she said “yes,” as we embraced one another beside the picturesque lake.This is no longer a house to us, it’s a home. A place we will come to visit every year and reminisce the memories we’ve made. Thank you to Ricky and his family for their gracious hospitality. This dream-like moment could not have happened without them!

Lakeside is magical !

Lakeside on Owasco Lake is truly a slice of heaven! The accommodations were perfect, and the view of the lake from every room was simply magical. Ricardo and his family went above and beyond by capturing our daughter’s engagement with a drone, making the moment even more special. An unforgettable experience in a breathtaking setting! An added bonus was the proximity to their restaurants Seb’s Green Shutters and Tom Thumb.ice cream stand and mini golf. ⛳️ This is our second stay and is our family’s Happy Place .

Beautiful location

Large , perfect home. Right on lake. Kayaks and canoe. Everything was pristine. Close to downtown Auburn. Great mysuc at moondogs. Skaneateles 20 minutes away. Take the hour long river cruise. Rick was a great host and always answered any questions promptly. Highly recommend this lovely home.

Spectacular property, wonderful host

We had a great stay at Lakeside for my wife's birthday. We happened upon Lakeside after severe storms flooded our booking at another property. The house and lakefront were even better than the pictures show. Rick was so helpful and attentive. He really saved the day for us. The house was very clean and spacious, with many comfortable areas to look out on the lake. The patio was great to enjoy an evening meal while watching the sunset. We can't wait to rent again!

Lakeside Is A Gem

We loved our stay at Lakeside. The home was spectacular, the views were breathtaking and the location was unbeatable. We landed at Lakeside unexpectedly due to an accidental, double booking of another property we’ve stayed at for years. Lakeside happened to be open the week we needed, and we booked it. The host - Ricardo - was an excellent communicator and extremely attentive to our needs. While the listing showcases the beauty of the home, we were still very impressed when we arrived. It is pristinely maintained and extremely spacious. There are numerous gathering areas for larger groups - both inside and out- but the house is laid out in a way that you also had peace and privacy when you needed it. It was immaculate and filled with all the amenities you’d hope for in your time away. We will definitely be booking this property again!

wonderful week

Eight of us (four couples) spent a full week at the house and had no complaints and enjoyed ourselves immensely. The property is very clean and modern. We had the best view for the 4th of July fireworks and utilized the canoe, kayaks and swam from the dock. Easy and quick responses from our host. Spacious and good bedding. All in all a true 5+ experience.

Wonderful time, gracious host

The house has lots of room and privacy and almost every room has a view of the lake. There is a cozy, sunny conversation nook off the main room, which is where we spent most of our time. The kitchen is easy to work in and also has a great view. There is a comfortable and well-furnished patio overlooking the lake. Riccardo was gracious and we felt very welcomed. We had a great time and hope to rent the house again.
