Family Celebration

Family Holiday

Property was great. Fantastic view from lounge & hot tub. Relaxing place with all facilities that you need for a holiday. Unfortunately check in was very stressful as the check in information didn’t come through prior to arrival & when travelling internationally you don’t readily have access to contact the host via email or phone which resulted in unnecessary international roaming costs to resolve. However once the check in issue was resolved we were able to really enjoy our stay in Nelson at the accommodation.

Views for days!

We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay! The views of the bay are stunning, and we spent as much time on the deck as possible before the mosquitos arrived. The home was very clean and well stocked. Perfect location for hiking in Abel Tasman and wine tasting at the nearby vineyards. I would not hesitate to book again!

Stunning Selah

Struggling to find the words for how wonderful our stay was at Selah Retreat. Beautiful house with high-end finishes. But the view was beyond our wildest imaginations. Can't recommend this property enough, but hoping it's available next time we come to Nelson!

Lovely place to stay

Our party of 6 had a really good time staying at this lovely, well kept property. Great location with easy drive into Nelson and down to the beach. Main living area and deck are fantastic - views are amazing, and the garden was very pretty. Property was well presented, very clean and tidy. The only drawback for us was that the fourth bedroom, which is downstairs, is unlike what is shown in the photo on the listing, with it instead being a foldaway / pull down bed with no wardrobe and drawers in the room for clothes. We would definitely return to this property for future holidays in Nelson.

Wonderful home - location, views, comfort

We loved our stay. We used the path from the park to walk to local restaurants, enjoyed the views each evening and morning while we explored Abel Tasman during the day. The house had everything we needed for our family with kids.

Views and space

We celebrated a significant birthday in Nelson with our children and new grandchild. The house is large enough to have 3 couples and a baby. We enjoyed the fabulous views, the large deck, and the spa pool. Special family memories made.

Our spa and relaxing stay at Nelson

We loved this property. The views are amazing and the house is superb. A couple of very minor comments are - only instant coffee available - only sufficient dishwasher detergent for one wash but we stayed 2 nights - it’s requested that the dishwasher be run and emptied with dishes put away before we leave. The eco cycle takes over 2 hours and we are asked to be out by 10am. Just running the dishwasher should be sufficient

Superb for the soul!

We cannot get enough of this beautiful property and are guttered we only stayed 2 nights. The beds are comfy with great linen. Heating systems are fantastic for those cold nights. The view was just stunning and we loved that you could enjoy it in the spa pool too. Check in was super easy and hosts are easy to contact if need be. We knew from Day 1 we would be back again to stay for longer than 2 nights. Thank so you so much!

Great views and location

The view from this property is amazing. The house has some great features but the kitchen is 1990s Provence blue and small by todays standards, it is well equipped. We had some issues with mixer taps in 2 of the 3 showers, the owner was straight on to the problem however because of availability of plumber and weekend we didn't get the benefit of the fixed shower issue. Also a small communication issue re checking in which wouldn't have been a problem if it wasn't 30 degrees heat and my elderly mother was needing to rest. Personally a King size bed would be good in the Master bedroom, its a HUGE bedroom and it would just take it to next level. I would recommend this property we had a great time.

Stunning view and great location

A lovely place to stay - the views are amazing, there is always something to watch. A ten minute walk down the hill and we could swim, or visit the local cafes or bars, or a walk further up the hill provided views across the city. Thank you for sharing your home.

Boys golf trip to Nelson

Excellent property, great location, views amazing and weather better than expected! The down side was having to pay the full price over six months in advance. Minor issue really.
