„The location is nice and truly peaceful. Regarding the property we had a few issues. Firstly, we booked Unit 7b which looked nice, but were given the key box code for 7a. 7a was decidedly a lesser quality property. It was smaller and tired-looking (I understand a new owner is currently upgrading - neighbours told me). The floors coul and should have been cleaner. „This is our third year staying in this chalet for our family ski trip. It’s a great location easy short walking to Friday flat with ski gear. Also easy walk to the village/gondola/alpine coaster etc. Very comfortable, warm, great fireplace, good kitchen and very useful drying room with washer/dryer. Kids love the loft bedrooms. Hosts are lovely. Will return. “

„We had 4 adults, 2 kids and 2 dogs. We had a lovely time. Most of the group was skiing but some stayed home to enjoy dinner plain walks and relaxing at the house. The place was well stocked, the linen and towels were clean with a lot of extra blankets if cold. We cooked every day and well stocked with kitchen utensils etc Very responsive with queries. “

The indoor log fire and outdoor firepit were ready to go and kept us very comfortable during the cool nights. „Loved the chalet and interesting to read of its history as a former store. Beautiful location and not too far to travel to either Denmark or Albany. The Youngs Siding Store has a good range of items and the Melting Moments are delicious! We enjoyed meeting the animals especially the horses and llamas. Would love to stay here again!“

„Great experience from check in to check out. Excellent communication from the host. Very comfortably place with plenty of room for a family with 3 adults and 4 kids. With heaters in all the rooms it was very warm. Its located at the bottom of the mountain within easy walking distance to friday flat or Valley terminal and a bus stop right out the front if you want to take the bus. Just note there isnt a laundry so make sure you have enough clothing to last the trip. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay ...

"The service was exceptional even for a 5 star hotel and Australia which both are generally on a high level. The views (especially from the upper floors) are breathtaking. There are so many things I couldn't take advantage of because I stayed too short. Next time, that mistake needs to be fixed by my planning. There are a few hotels that are closer to Circular Quay (Oh.. spelling in English...my appologies for any/many mistakes) and parking is the most expensive in Sydney (at least I did not see any higher rates and they are only until 3 pm no matter when you arrive) but other than that this place is paradise and top of my list."
