We took a trip to Door County to celebrate my parent's 50th anniversary, and this place had the accommodations we needed for a larger group with several families. The house is located on a long, private driveway and has an expansive backyard with dunes, views of the lake, and a bonfire area. We went when it was still rather cool outside, so other than dipping toes it was not swimming weather.
We had someone in our party who could not use the stairs, so having a main floor bathroom and two bedrooms was nice. It is important to note that the master bath is an en suite, so the upstairs bedroom must share with either the master bath or the main floor bath. There are two additional bathrooms downstairs with the bunk beds. It worked for us.
The kitchen had all of the utensils, dishes, and some larger serving dishes as well as plenty of small appliances and a crockpot. We were happy with the amount of towels, extra bedding, etc., and the furniture was very comfortable.
A couple of "room for improvement" items to note are that there was no cable or Roku upstairs and we had folks who couldn't go down steps. A Roku TV in the main living room is a must. Lastly, the dryer is a real issue. It kicked off at least 20 times where we needed to unplug and re-plug it.. I saw it mentioned in other reviews, so I would recommend getting it fixed or just replaced. It is too tight of a squeeze for some people to unplug several times a load.
Thank you, and we really enjoyed our stay!!
