„Wonderful experience staying right on the harbor! We were in the area during the busy 4th of July time and loved visiting Acadia and Bar Harbor. The best part was coming back to our quiet hideaway to rest up for our next day of exploring. There was an issue with our heat that was taken care of immediately. HIGHLY recommend this spot--oh, and be sure to check out Echo Lake, which is super close.“

„We had a lovely stay at the Gray Barn Carriage House. It was so quiet and peaceful! The house was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked, the bed was large and comfy, and there were plenty of reading nooks and sofas to relax on after a day on the hiking trails. We miss it already.“

„We had such a nice week at the cottage! Loved the location on the quiet side of the island, especially being able to walk down to the Bass Harbor Lighthouse to watch the sun set. „Perfect location on the “Quietside” of the island. We used the cabin as our home base for hikes and exploring Acadia, which is about 30 minutes away. The hot tub and fire pit were perfect for unwinding after long days in the park. Diana and C were very communicative and helpful, and we’d absolutely stay again on our next trip. “

„Small coastal town,. I would say, if you want to have a lot of shopping and choices on eateries, this isn't the place for you. There are a few shops and a few dining places that aren't open every day. The property is right on the water, exactly what we were looking for. Perfect place to watch fishing boats and the tides. "Wir waren drei Nächte im Juli dort und hatten ein großes Zimmer in der 2. Etage. Das Hotel hat einen großen Parkplatz und eine Laundry mit Waschmaschinen und Trocknern war für uns sehr wichtig war. Zudem gab es einen Frühstücksraum mit einer Aussenterrasse (war jedoch ungepflegt und wir von keinem benutzt). Jedoch gibt es keinen Aufzug und daher muss man die Koffer enge Treppen hoch schleppen. Das Zimmer hatte eine Pantry und ein schönes Bad. Insgesamt war das Zimmer schön und sauber. Das Frühstück hat uns weder geschmeckt (nur abgepackte Lebensmittel) noch war der Frühstücksraum ansprechend. Deshalb haben wir nicht mehr dort gegessen. Das Hotel diente uns als Ausgangspunkt für den Arcadia National Park. Es bekommt 3 von 5 Punkten von uns."
