âWe loved our stay at coco tangalla. The staff was welcoming and kind and the location was amazing. The property is beautiful with a great pool and beautiful view of the beach (although you canât swim there because of the rocks, but itâs great to watch crabs in the rock pools!) - food was very tasty (egg hoppers were especially good) and the room was comfortable and practical (not huge in itself but the bed was comfy and there was storage for our bags under the bed, and the bathroom was big). ...

âEnthusiastic and attentive staff with a wonderful area directly on the sand with individual bungalows for hammocks I lovely safe swimming area just a little down and in all respects somewhere I would be in a hurry to go back to.â

âWir hatten einen durchwachsenen Aufenthalt im Golden Pearl.
Ankunft war okay, Fruchtsaft aus der Packung typisches Zuckerwasser. Freundlichkeit die wir sonst so gewohnt sind war wenig vorhanden. Wir gingen auf Zimmer, Koffer wurden uns getragen - sehr nett! Wir gingen ins Zimmer welches schön aber dennoch stark abgewohnt war. Uns wurde das Bad gezeigt wo uns gleich eine Kakalake begrĂŒĂte. Der mitarbeiter traute sich selbst kaum ins Bad bis sein Kollege einen Besen nahm und die Schabe entfernte. ...

âThe owner greated us with a nice cold scented towel to wipe our faces and hands on, which was very welcoming after our hot journey and a refreshing iced tea. Our bedroom was lovely and big and spotless. A nice big bathroom with plenty of hot water. The top terrace was lovely with the sea views whilst eating great food.
You could walk to the beach in 5 minutes where you can find lots of great restaurants.â

âWe really enjoyed our stay in the lagoon paradise resort and even decided to stay one day longer than initially planned. You can enjoy the breakfast (as well as dinner) in the nice beach restaurant with a great view. We booked a cabana which was located near the swimming pool. We would definitely recommend the hotel to anybody who visits Tangalle! Special thanks also to the staff (especially Weerasena & Thisara) who were more than welcoming.â

âIt was a lovely place with very nice hosts and a nice clean room with a comfy bed. It is close to the beach and is located in the city, but away from the noisy road. The welcome drink is delicious, as well as the food they serve âșïžâ

âThe Cabanas was very spacious and nice. There is NO hot water for a shower which is not mentioned in the posting. There is not a separate "sitting area." The cabana is in a beautiful setting but you have to take a Tuk Tuk to town. It is next door to a restaurant. The breakfast is the traditional Sri Lankan Breakfast. Please note that they do not accept credit cards (which is poor) so you have to pay in local currency.â

âWasn't very clean especially the bathroom. No where to place anything in the room, had to use floor. Poor lighting in room, only I of 3 lights worked. No toilet roll or soap provided, had to ask for toilet roll. No dustbin in room or bathroom. This is a homestay, not a hotel.
Breakfast was good and they attanged a scooter hire for me.
Sadly when I went to leave things turned nasty by both the father and son, claiming I needed to pay for the room and breakfast. I booked via Hotels.com a company ...

"Eine wirklich wunderschöne Oase direkt am Strand. Es ist alles sehr liebevoll gestaltet und das Hotelpersonal war Ă€uĂerst freundlich und zuvorkommend. Bisher unsere beste Erfahrung in ganz Sri Lanka, es hat wirklich viel SpaĂ gemacht und es wurde auf unsere individuellen WĂŒnsche eingegangen. Das Essen wurde abends frisch zubereitet und ansonsten kann man sich jederzeit GetrĂ€nke nehmen. Der Strand ist besonders schön, ebenfalls gibt es zwei Pools in der Anlage sowie Liegen die zum verweilen einladen. Wenn wir nochmal nach Sri Lanka reisen kommen wir definitiv wieder her, vielen Dank an das gesamte Team! "
