I had a nice, spacious room. Especially the walk-in shower was very roomy. Fridge and microwave were available in the room. Front desk staff was exceptionally friendly. Breakfast didn‘t have a huge variety of choices, but was ok. Easy to get to from the Interstate. Perfect for a one-night stay.

Nettes Hotel, aber kleine Zimmer und unbequemes Bett. Der Poolbereich ist extrem laut, da das Hotel an einem Autobahnkreuz liegt. Relativ gutes Frühstück.

Sehr durchschnittlich
Ich kann die relativ hohe Bewertung nicht nachvollziehen: das Hotel ist in einem sehr durchschnittlichen Zustand. Überall liegt in die Jahre gekommener Teppich, mehr oder weniger sauber. Die Wände sind sehr dünn, man hört praktisch alle Aktivitäten seiner Nachbarn. Positiv (aber US-Standard): kostenloses Wlan, kostenloser Parkplatz. Das Frühstück ist ebenfalls typisch amerikanisch. Ich würde hier nicht noch einmal übernachten!

Front desk was super helpful, breakfast was solid, room was nice enough for a brief stay. Walls were kinda thin and the ac took a bit to start working. Overall, it was affordable and cozy. Would stay again and higly recommend, especially if on a budget!

The room we stayed in was not very clean. We actually had to request new sheets and remake our beds ourselves with them after finding dirt smudged on the sheets on one bed and cigarette burn holes in sheets on the other bed. The second floor hallway smelled like pot - thankfully the room did not. There was trash left on the floor beside one of the beds, hair stuck to the dryer, and weird stains on the walls. That room needs a major cleaning. We only stayed for a few hours overnight since we were on the road, so it met our needs for that at least. On the upside, the beds were comfortable, staff was nice, and breakfast was good.

I appreciated the last minute booking and getting me the best rate using my phone app. I would recommend more hooks and towel racks in the bathroom and in the room so you can hang clothes. Overall it was a great stay!

The rooms are tiny but comfortable. The carpet in the room was dirty and even after they cleaned the room, it didn’t look like they vacuumed. We also had a lamp with a short that the cord would shock you. We told the front desk and nothing was done about it.

Clean Space and Comfortable with Amenities
Clean room and comfortable bed. The girl at the desk could not figure out why there was no stopper for the tub. I suppose since it was an accessible room that most persons used the shower instead. I ended up getting extra wash cloths and stuffing one in the tub drain. The choice of breakfast food was good and there were some hot entrees. We enjoyed our stay overall and found the location convenient to the interstate, restaurants, and other attractions in Baton Rouge.

Terrible experience. Air conditioning was not working. Maintenance took 3 hours to check it out. Maintenance guy said he will start working on it and he didn’t, he started working on something else. That pissed me off so I Got a new room. Sheets weren’t changed, they were stained from the previous customers that stayed in the room. Shower wasn’t cleaned, there was hairs.

My wife and I discovered a red blood like spot on our sheets and after many attempts to get a hold of the manager we never got any communication about this safety issue. The housekeeping staff was very unprofessional and should be more vigilant of potential safety hazards.

Comfortable hotel but hard to find
Nice enough room, clean and comfortable. But we had a lot of trouble finding the place. It is down a long service road, that has several hotels/motels on it, and then curves around behind them. We thought we had reached the road's end at another motel, and assumed our GPS had led us astray. After wandering around in the dark and rain, we called the hotel. The young woman didn't seem to know the landmarks in her own town when we described where we were (turns out we were just a couple of blocks away). Finally after we persisted with multiple questions, we got enough info from her to realize we had been on the correct road, but needed to keep following it past the other motel. To her credit, the young woman did apologize, when we got there, for not being better at giving directions. But I would think a hotel that is down a service road with no signs anywhere on the main road should make a point of training its desk personnel in how to help lost tavelers find them. And maybe invest in a big sign on the main road pointing folks in the right direction. Without GPS, we would have had no shot of finding the place.

Sleepless at the Sleep Inn
Besides having to try and sleep in a room that had been smoked in, our vehicle was vandalized. First of all, the staff was very nice. After checking in, we walked into the room and it had a strong smell of cigarette smoke in a non smoking room. The desk clerk kindly gave us another room. Unfortunately the second room also smelled like smoke but not as strong. The previous guest covered the smoke detector as not to set it off while they smoked in the room. See photo for details. After a not so good night sleep (after 12 hours on the road) we woke up to see that our vehicle had been vandalized. It goes without saying that hotel stay ended up putting a damper on our vacation. We spent a portion of our vacation over the new years weekend trying to get our vehicle fixed enough to get safely back to South Carolina. Absolute Bummer!!!
