Welcome to your cozy studio retreat in Southwest Colorado. Tucked away in a peaceful natural setting on the outskirts of Bayfield, our studio is thoughtfully designed for two and offers a comfortable place to slow down, recharge, and enjoy the beauty of the area.

Step outside and take in the open scenic views, with pines along the property and the surrounding Colorado landscape in front of you. Start your morning with a cup of coffee on the porch, breathe in the fresh air, and enjoy the quiet before heading out for the day.

Inside the studio:
The studio has a cozy open-concept layout, meaning the sleeping, dining, kitchen, and living areas are all comfortably arranged within the same space. You’ll have a queen bed, bedside table and lamp, dining table, and TV. Guests are welcome to sign in to their own streaming accounts to enjoy their favorite shows and movies.
The kitchen makes it easy to prepare meals during your stay and includes a stove with oven, refrigerator, cookware, dishes, and basic cooking utensils. Whether you want to make breakfast before heading out or enjoy a quiet dinner at the studio, you’ll have the basics you need for cooking.
The compact private bathroom includes a shower, toilet, sink, and mirror. We provide shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, and you’ll find extra towels and a hair dryer conveniently stored under the sink.

A peaceful home base for exploring:
You’ll be just outside of Bayfield, close enough to head into town for local restaurants and small-town charm while enjoying a quieter, more natural setting at the studio. Durango is approximately 25 minutes away, making it easy to enjoy its restaurants, shops, and attractions as part of your trip, including the famous Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad, a scenic train experience through the beautiful landscapes of Southwest Colorado.

Southwest Colorado has something to offer in every season. During the warmer months, spend your days exploring nearby lakes, kayaking, hiking, or simply enjoying the outdoors. In winter, head toward Purgatory Resort for a day of skiing and return to your cozy studio for a peaceful evening.
